Explain a situation where it would be appropriate to use the ban command:


1. Mass RDM + LTAP. If a user was to RDM (random death-match) at least three other users then proceed to LTAP (leave to avoid punishment), it would be appropriate to use the ban command on the user. The length of the ban would mainly depend on any prior bans that the user had obtained or any other punishments in general. The length of the ban could also differ depending on the severity of the user's offense.


2. Gag Evading. If a user, for example; was to spam music on the voice chat and then was subsequently gagged, and the user then left the server and then rejoin in order to avoid the gag. If the user was to continue to repeat this, after being warned multiple times, it would be appropriate to ban the user.


Explain how you would handle the following situation:

Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for Cheating, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?

Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 100 words):.

I feel that I should be promoted because during my time as moderator, I have already learned many things that would be beneficial to me as an admin. I'd like to think that I have been a good help to numerous people on that server that have required assistance and I have been completing lots of reports.

I try to be as nice as I can to people on the server in order to give them a good experience on the server. As a moderator, there have been times where I haven't known what to do in a certain situation and I have asked another staff member for help. As a result of me doing this, I have learned lots about the commands and am now quite good at knowing how to punish a user. I have also learned a bit about some of the admin commands so it will be easier for me to become efficient at using them.

Before and since becoming accepted as a moderator, I have had a relatively high activity and I have been on as often as I can. I plan to keep my activity up so that there is always someone on to help out the users on the server. The majority of people that I have helped would say that I'm a nice guy and I think I am nice to most of the staff and help any of them out when they require assistance.

Whenever I have been given feedback on how to be a better moderator, I have taken it onboard and used it to improve and since becoming a member of staff, I have 100% improved.

I will support you for admin, however I would like to remind you after the last encounter we had together, that it isn't our job to harshly punish individuals in situations that it would be unnecessary thus being petty about certain situations.
