I believe that I hold many traits and abilities which would be greatly beneficial towards someone going for Admin on any server, and which greatly aid me in my current responsibilities as a Admin.
To begin with, I would consider myself to be a very kind person, but not to the point where it leads to me being too lenient on anyone who is breaking rules or a staff member who is not performing to the appropriate standard / abusing their powers on the server. I believe that, in my time on the server and in the community, I have constantly demonstrated this towards staff members and users alike. Kindness in moderation is a large part of becoming a Admin, as a HA is required to constantly manage the staff team as a whole, and to interact with staff and users a lot more than someone holding a lower rank, hence why I believe this would be beneficial to me gaining the rank of Admin.
Furthermore, I believe that I am very friendly and approachable. As a Admin, there are many situations in which a user or a staff member would need to approach you for whatever reason. In my time in the community, I believe that I have demonstrated the fact that many people do in fact feel that they are able to approach me in many situations, ranging from small things unrelated to the servers to larger things or staffing related issues. This is of vital importance not just for a Admin, but for any Lead Team member, as a large part of our job is to remain approachable by staff and users alike, otherwise we would be incapable of doing our job. I believe that this trait has helped me to stand out within the community and to be a good Admin on the server, along with a good Admin on other servers thus far.
Adding on to being approachable, I am also very understanding towards people, and am able to be empathetic towards their situations. It would be completely pointless to be approachable if you are never actually able to help people with what they are trying to ask you about, and I believe that with the way that I am very understanding to the people who approach me with anything, I would be excellent in this area.
I believe myself to be very dedicated towards the community as a whole, and also towards deathrun. In the past, I have been trying to help out as many staff members as possible in game, trying to sort out situations with hackers (which would be much easier to do with the new Head Admin anticheats), bringing up staff members and encouraging them to do their jobs when necessary, giving out punishments where necessary (official warnings and demotions from the Lead Team meeting) and I have also always been very active (bar the week where my game was broken) and constantly doing my job to the best of my ability on Deathrun. A Head Admin on any server is pointless if they are not dedicated and do not do their job, and I believe that, with the amount of dedication that I have shown towards the community, that I will not disappoint if I were to get this rank.
I have also shown dedication through my constant bringing up of staff members and chasing them up on their F1 counts / activity, which I am hoping to be able to prove even further through the Task Force system and my roles in that in order to show my dedication and willingness to help out with issues on the server.
Though I hold many more traits and abilities which would benefit a Admin, I believe that the ones listed above are the main ones which would benefit me as a Admin on Deathrun, and have helped me to do my job the most as a Admin thus far.
Experience and Trust
In my time in the community (About 1 year and 5 months), I have managed to develop upon leadership skills a lot, and specific skills and traits required for a Lead Team member. I currently hold a large number of Lead Team roles across the community: Prophunt Server Owner, Murder Server Owner, Deathrun Server Developer, TTT Head Admin, Surf Head Admin and Teamspeak Head Admin on top of my current rank as a Moderator on Deathrun. I believe that my experience as a Moderator on Deathrun, along with my vast experience with higher ranks in the community, is a large part of why I should be chosen for the rank of Admin. Currently,Deathrun haslots of ranked people, which is few, especially with how popular the server is in comparison to other servers, and so everything required to be done by a Admin sometimes ends up not being done soon enough, due to low volume of Admins, which has, in some cases, led to issues on the server or making people's experiences in game far worse. With my other ranks and experience across the community, I believe that I would be the best choice for the role of a Admin, and that if I were to be chosen for the rank, then I would be able to greatly contribute towards the server, much more than I have been able to currently as a Admin.
My current ranks across the community, as well as proving the fact that I have a high level of leadership skills, proves that I am very trusted to the community, and have shown large amounts of dedication to get to where I am today. A Admin gains a large number of powers within the server and so, whilst not being required, as someone with no prior experience as a Admin can still make a great one, having past experience and trust makes the job much easier, and makes it much easier for the current team to trust me with the extra powers that would be gained.
As a Moderator, on Deathrun. I have a very high understanding of what it means to be a Admin, all of the processes within ZARP, and what is required, along with having all of the key qualities for the role. I have been a,Moderator for quite some time, Admin for Deathrun , and so I believe that, whilst requiring a large number of high Lead Team qualities to even get these roles in the first place, that over the time that I have had them, I have been able to develop upon them even more to make myself a better person and a better member of the Lead Team and the community.
Plans and Goals
As a Moderator, I would strive to continue helping out the staff team as I have currently as a Moderator, continuing to broaden the range of what I could help out with, and trying to continue everything that I have always been doing to help out on the server. I want to strive to help out with the server, helping it to grow further with the staff team, and to help it to grow even more with more players, and furthering that in order to help more with the server, using the new powers and responsibilities entrusted to a Admin in order to further the positive impact that I can have on the server, and the extent to which I can help out with bringing the server up in rankings and making it a much better and more enjoyable place for all users and staff members alike.
Many people have beliefs that the Lead Team has started to become more of a dictatorship rather than a democracy, the democratic way in which the community works being one of the key points which brings the community into the great position that it holds, and one of the main unique points of the community. As a Admin, I would try to work on this, branching out more and trying to see why these issues are arising, and communicating more with the entire staff team and users in order to work out clamping down on this and helping to work on trying to draw ZARP into the state where everyone is happy with the way in which the Lead Team For this number ofRanked people, and also the number of people on the server and in the community, we really do need moreRanked people for the various situations to arise on the server, and in order to ensure that all staff and users are dealing with situations appropriately and that they are all enjoying their time on the server as much as possible.
A Admin has a much larger impact and is listened to more across the community as a whole, and I believe that, being Moderator on Deathrun, on top of my current rank on Deathrun, I would be able to further do much more for the community in order to make it a better place for everyone, and to continue striving to shape the community into a more ideal form.
As always, any feedback or constructive criticism to help me improve is always welcome, whether it positive or negative
