Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin:
Well I have been Super Admin on SSRP and they use the same FAdmin menu so it is easy for me to understand how everything works etc. I feel like I and the server would benefit from me being admin so I can not only keep the server free of rulebreaks but also remove people off the server if needed.
Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user):
Some person was singing and playing music through his mic and I told him to stop or I will mute him. He stopped to tell me "fuck off " and continued. I muted him for 5 minutes and after that he seemed to learn his lesson until a few minutes later when he carried on. I muted him again but I knew he was going to continue so I called an admin so he could further punish.
If you had to write a letter to train a moderator in between 100-200 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?:First of all congratulations on becoming a new staff member on BHOP
To begin with if you click on someone using the Tab Menu these are the commands you will see
The button 'Kick' removes the player from the server and should only be done after you have previiously given the user punishment/s. If they rejoin and continue rule breaking I suggest calling an admin so they can ban them.
The 'Mute Chat' button mutes them from typing ingame (Does not mute their voice)
The ' Mute Globally' button does the opposite and mutes their voice (Does not mute their chat)
The ' Freeze' button simply stops them from moving and shouldn't really be used. However if someone if map exploiting you can freeze them to stop them further doing so.
If someone is using weapons to annoy people and ruin their server experience then you can simply use the button 'Strip weapons'.
If you click on the top right button 'Punishment' you can see all previous punishments given my yourself and others. If the punishment is recent it will be red. This is where you can decide the outcome of their rule break.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for Cheating, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
It would depend on the time they have waited before appealing. If they waited around 1+month/s before deciding to appeal I would respond with:
Hello player X Thank you for your apology. Since this is your first ban you will be let off this time. However if caught continuing to cheat or rule break the punishment will be harsher and for longer.
If they didn't wait around 1+month/s before deciding to appeal I would respond with:
You need to wait longer before appealing because I feel like you haven't learnt your lesson yet. You need to know your actions have consequences and therefor the ban shall stay.
Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 100 words):
I am a trusted member of the community and would only work harder on improving the BHOP server if given a promotion. I have dealt with numerous of people rule breaking over the week (Mostly Mic spam) and had to once call and wait for an admin to further punish a user. If given admin I would be able to remove certain players from the server that do not care for rules and following them.
