Explain how you feel that your time as a moderator will contribute to you becoming an admin: My time as a moderator at the beginning was a truly fun time when i was accepted along other plays and getting trained by Spoder and being able to be moderator for a good amount of time missing out on 2 weeks is actually disappointing on myself, either way its long past now so I'm hoping i can be set off right again by being admin.
Explain a situation as a moderator you encountered that was an obstacle you had to work around (EG: defiant user): I Don't think I've had a major encounter but warning friends is always a tough one of course I always go through with it in the end even if it means not being friends anymore I don't enjoy and will never enjoy being bias against another player in a sit.
If you had to write a facebook post to train a moderator in between 200-300 words, what would you say to give them the full grasp?:
Hello and welcome to the staff team of ZARP! Im just going to quickly run you through the basics.
F1
When you press the F1 key you'll see a brand new menu that replaces the report menu. In here you can check the recent warnings, logs, active NLR & the admin requests. You can search through all of it by using the search bar located at the top right corner
F6 Menu
Use this menu to check a player's warnings. You can use this when deciding to punish a player and checking their other warnings if any. An example would be someone that has no warnings and maybe just doesn't know the rules well, in this case I personally would give them a verbal and then direct them to the rules on the forums or tell them to use the !motd command. If it was the case of someone that had previous warnings I wouldn't be as lenient and they would most likely get a warning, if they had recent punishments then the punish would be more severe. In the case of 3 or more recents it would be a ban. Whenever you need someone banned, put their STEAMID in the admin chat with the reason why and then wait patiently.
Commands
/tp - Teleports you to the location you are looking at or /tp (STEAMID) to teleport a player.
Important!: Do not use names to teleport people, it will bring people that have similar names or the same name which could end up being half the server! My recommendation is doing all teleports and freezes in the tab menu, just to be safe.
/freeze - Use this to freeze people by using /freeze STEAMID
The same thing I said earlier applies, do not use names!
/warn - Use this to warn people who have been warned once verbally by yourself and they decide not to or become disrespectful and non-cooperative.
/unwarn - Use this, as the name implies, to unwarn people if you made a mistake or want to unwarn them as you have changed your mind other was or his warning was appealed.
/kick - Use this command to kick people from the server.
/slay - Use this command to slay a person. Lets say a mutant has a gun equipped and is refusing to holster/drop it, that's one time where you would issue that command as a warning isn't needed unless its consistently happening.
I on the other hand as i have stated, usually prefer the tab menu for players rather than having to /tp (Steam ID) i'd only use the steam ID for Warning the player and after gaining the ability to ban to also use it to ban.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that another admin banned them permanently for prop-spam, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?: If the player has shown himself up for being an issue for others and deeply regrets Prop-Spamming and I'm guessing the admin told him continually to stop and refused to I Would first speak with the admin on this and if he does think banning him permanently was a bit to harsh I would accept the players appeal and say.
I've spoken to the admin who issued the ban on you and we have come to the conclusion to reduce your ban from Permanent to 3 Days and hope you find this reasonable and the way you refused to stop prop spamming is not okay Thank you and see you in 3 Days.
If the admin says he was being disrespectful and thinks he still hasn't learned his lesson from the length of the ban I Would say
I and the Admin who issued this ban have decided the ban is necessary as you completely neglected his advice/reasoning to stop prop spamming multiple times. You may re-appeal at a later date Thank you for Understanding!
Why I should be promoted(we recommend around 150 words): I say I have very well improved my F1's from my last application but I think I Should be promoted, because It would benefit me greatly from doing F1's more easily than being Moderator since the time I have been, it was truly a great experience and being admin will actually be the first time I've been an admin in any server same as moderator. I hope to be accepted Thank you for Reading
