■ Explain a situation where it would be appropriate to use the ban command:
1. Player X joins the server, and has no intentions other than Massively RDMing the entire server, and after doing so instantly leaves. Things like racism, false reports/lying in reports, offensive name or mic spam would definitely add up, however the Mass RDM and LTAP would be sufficient enough.
2. If a player accumulates enough recent punishments and is obviously on the server to cause trouble, and wants to purposely destroy the flow of the game and ruin players enjoyment of the server/gamemode. The player has been spoken to and warned beforehand that if his actions continue, more drastic measures will be taken to stop him and if he continues, disregarding the last warning, he should be issued a temporary ban.
3. Cheating is one way of getting a ban fast. It already shows intent of taking an extremely big advantage over others, or purposely ruining their fun.
■ Explain how you would handle the following situation:Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for Cheating, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
I would judge according to his case and his application. If it feels genuine, and not forced just so he gets un-banned, I would wait and first ask around for another opinion from fellow staff members. I would most likely reduce the ban to two days, so he doesn't just go off scat free, and put him under minor watch when he is un-banned.
■ Why I should be promoted:.
After re-experiencing the moderator rank and it's responsibilities, I now remember why I applied in the first place. During my training, the whole role that I had to face seemed extremely overwhelming, and it was hard keeping up at the start, but the more I did it, the more I remembered how much fun it was last time, as it is this time, and with each completed report it got easier and easier.
Aside from the fun, however, the thought of keeping the server clean and enjoyable for all players was what drove me to move forward and improve my efficiency and presentation during the reports, having a fair and unbiased opinion both in my play style and decision making during the report procedure, allowing me to have a fair balance between playing and doing my part as a staff member.
Being a moderator truly was great, I've made friends and have gained respect from many players, who are glad when they see that their cases are being handled by me. There were things I needed to learn, which is what makes the role great. However, I remember why I didn't apply for Admin last time, and went to further roles, it was because at the time I didn't want the responsibility. Now, however, I feel as if me being an administrator would benefit both me and the server and improve my quality of moderation in the server.
But above all that, I have had years and years of administrative experience. Every server I've ever been on, that I've cared for the success of, I've became a staff member. I have a good eye for detail and I can see minor or major flaws within the system and can make suggestions that would help fix those problems without any repercussions. I genuinely do want this server to improve, and keep going as strong as it is, keeping it both clean and in top-shape for newer players.
■ Extra Information:
I couldn't be more happy about the support I've received from fellow staff members. I've often came in issue when dealing with reports, due to the amount of time I had in my break, that I was definitely a bit rusty at the start, especially the first day or two. However, if I needed any help, even the slightest bit, I knew for a fact I had someone to turn to and they will without fail will be able to help me, and that would be anyone. I was extremely surprised by that, and would like to thank every staff member for my reintroduction to the TTT staff team for Zarp.
In addition, I've also been a staff member here, taking an administrative role, and have tried to be one of the most active and best administrators possible, and I do wish to do the same if I receive a promotion to this application as well.
