How do you feel that your time as an administrator has contributed to becoming a super administrator:
I have been admin for more a less a month now and I have handled lots of things in this time (it’s better in the section below). Also, I know the Lead Team is really full p, but I think due to my activity and time in zero I would be helpful.
What makes you a good candidate for the super administrator team? ( in this part you can go as detailed as you want):
Experience: I have been admin for almost a month and, as of today, I am mostly sure I have handled most of the possible TTT rule break cases. From banning people to forgiving because of following the ETHOS.
Trust and Reliability: I know pretty much every staff member and I am always happy to help any user who wants to apply for mod to do so. Normally, I add them on steam and help them out white their application.
The current staff team already knows me and know I will help with any problem I can.
Leadership: As said above, I always help new mods and show interest while they are handling cases and need help. From now on, I will be even more active on the meetings and objecting / discussing more as some staff recommended me to.
Explain a situation as an administrator you encountered that was an obstacle that required the help of a lead team member but you had to work around it when no lead team member was available:
I once encountered a hacker, and as I have no anti cheats as an admin, that was a problem. So I had to contact an LT member to ask permission for a ban. If I were a SA, I would use the anti cheat.
Explain how you would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member:
To start off, I would contact the user who is reporting the staff member and tell him to come into ts3. As a SA, I would get him into a spacer and get his version of the story and ask for proofs. If i do have proofs, I would talk to the staff member and tell him off, then I would ask him to write an apology to the user, then, depending on the seriousness of the abuse, I would talk to the rest of the LT to decide whether or not we should give him an official.
If I have no proof, I would speak anyway to the staff member to get his story and try to find out if it is true or not. If I decided it is true, I would not punish due to lack of evidence. If I decide it is not true, I would try to find out why the user wrote the report on the staff.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how do you approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly?
Let’s start by assuming the user is a new admin, as the old ones know the lengths of the ban. I would contact the admin and tell him to come into ts3. Then, I would talk to him, go over the ETHOS. Then, I would explain the ban times. First 36h, then 2 days if he gets banned again, and so on.
Afterwards, I would lower the ban of the user or unban him if he has already been banned for the time I considered. I would contact him either on the forums or by steam and apologise for the mistake while announcing the ban update.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How would you resolve the situation?
I would take on the case and finish it (if it is rdm / disrespect). Then, I would talk to the staff member who has been struggling with the user via admin chat or ts3 if possible. If I see the staff member is having a bad day, as we all might have, I would ask him to either leave the server for a bit and just relax, or to keep playing if he wants to and just take some time off and not work. If I see he feels better later, I would ask him what happened earlier and if he’s ok now. If the staff member was the disrespectful and the one who started the argument, I would ask him to apologise either by a post or directly to him.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member accuses another staff member of breaking rules, how would you help resolve the situation?
As always, I would get the staff member who is reporting the abuse into ts3 and ask him about it. After talking about what happened, I would ask him for proofs. As I know the staff team, I could also suspect from a start the issue being true or not. If he does have proofs and the staff member has indeed broken rules and abused of his powers, I would then talk to him along with he who reported him. Then, if his attitude is correct and feels sorry, I would check the seriousness of the problem. Yet again, if his abuse wasn’t very problematic, I would tell him to write an apology and then discuss with the rest of the LT about if he would get an official or not. If he doesn’t care about the abuse and seems to have intentions of doing it again, I would directly talk to the staff team about his official warning and a possible demotion (if it was really serious).
If he happens to not have proofs, I would get them both together and try to get as much info possible from the situation. I would talk to both staff members, but I would not punish due to lack of evidence.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
A staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards another staff member and or sparks an argument within the staff team. How do you resolve the situation?
I would get both staff members into ts3 and then talk to both. I would ask them how did the argument start and why it kept going. After I had talked about it, I would try to get them to com into an agreement and be friendly back again to keep the staff team united. If I fail in that, I would ask both to take some time off and think about what happened and for any possible solution.
Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation:
You spot a staff member breaking rules to the point of harming other users, how do you approach the staff member?
As always, I would ask him to stop (either rdm or spam), if he doesn’t, I would talk to him in ts3 to know why he is doing it. If he has a reason, like having a really bad day or something like that, I would ask him to apologise and leave or at least stop breaking rules. If he is breaking rules because he is bored or something like that, I would ask him to write an apology anyways and then hand him an official warning. Then, talk to the LT about him and about how he might do it again.
