Explain a situation where it would be appropriate to use the ban command:
It would be appropriate to ban a certain player after the player in question has received multiple amount of warnings in a short period of time for his abusive behaviour, and it is very clear the player shows no remorse for his actions at all. Another justified ban is one for a player who clearly mass rdmed and left, with the intentions to avoid punishments.

Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for Cheating, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
One knows that no one can be a perfect being, and therefore is able to make mistakes. When someone shows that he reflects upon his punishment, I would surely reconsider his or her ban, especially when it is the first ban the person received! I would lift the ban after I have personally stressed to the person in question that he/she should not do it again, because further rule breaking will lead to a ‘real’ permanent ban.

Why I should be promoted (we recommend around 100 words):
Helping out the server as much as possible, is next to enjoying the game, one of the main reasons I am writing this application for a potential promotion. I really enjoy interacting with the people I play this game with and I really want to further involve into the community. Managing as a moderator is fun, and I have aspirations to move on as well. I do believe my activity is should not be a problem to carry out the roles of an admin.

Anyway, from what I have seen from you so far, you do a good job as a moderator. You have only been a moderator for a few days now so you will have to attend this weeks meeting aswell. You are also a friendly person on TeamSpeak along with that.

you have yet to attend a meeting as a mod and i think you would benefit from more time as a mod rather than rushing the admin rank.

next week you will get my support as long as you are active and deal with reports.

I think it really depends on the character in question, and I do think that specific rule should be removed, or altered. Also the other rule, saying "Only mods can apply for admin", should be removed, as in the past there's been people going straight for admin.

Mods can apply for Admin on their second week as long as they attend a Meeting. Many MANY admins got it on their second week and Gurren is not the first nor the last guy doing it.

For those calling him powerhungry/Rushing through the ranks: I told him to apply for admin because from what i have seen he is doing an amazing job. He wanted to apply next week but i forced him to do it this week. He can handle the admin rank easily. Some times, Maturity and Character can replace experience. If someone is mature enough and knows what he is doing, he will ask someone before he fucks up. He won't do it without asking a Higher Up and get into trouble if he is not sure about a punishment or something. I know that this guy will pay attention to the training and will do a fine job. Just like the other Admins who got it on their second week did. I really don't want to delay this for another Week. Pointless.

Next to that, I don't see the problem with unmuting a person, since the common rule here is that: "a person should be unmuted in the next round". Even if someone else muted the person in question before.

About the RDM+LTAP, I used to slay people two times after a fellow moderator told me today, to slay him once for it. I'm not accusing anyone here because this was a mistake on my part. I just wanted to add that I have not been doing this mistake since the beginning of my period of being staff
