Gametracker has down that I have about 6.38 hours in total; however, I find this to be incorrect. I have played surf numerous times in the past month or so and have played for about an hour each time and those hours are not logged apparently. I played with Morgan a few times so you could ask him perhaps.
If you also check the gametracker for my stats today it will only say I have played 73 minutes. This is also incorrect. I have been playing the server since approximately 11am(EST) and it is now 3pm(EST) which brings me to a total of 4 hours today alone.
I'm not sure why my stats are so wonky, because I actually have been playing the server. As for my various activities today Onion can attest that I have been on the server since I've gotten back from class at 11am.H

Surf Related:
Someone new joins the server, explain how you would show them how to Surf for the first time:
If a new player were to join the server, and asked wanted to learn how to play I would do the following:
First would direct him to the F3 menu, as it would make his first experience a little less difficult and rage inducing.
Second, I would explain to the play that surfing involves a few key techniques in order to be successful. The first technique being that when you are on the left side of a ramp you should press D in order to stay on the ramp and maintain/increase your speed, and that when you are on a right side ramp you should press A in order to maintain/increase speed.
Third, I would stress the importance of using their mouse. Your mouse is your best friend along with your A and D keys. Your mouse allows you to control the direction you're headed on a ramp and can be used to help you increase speed if your angle yourself in a particular way. It can also be used to help you jump high into the air, which is often required to make it from ramp to ramp. Another key use of the mouse is while you are in the air in order to not lose a hefty amount of speed, it is important that you simultaneously press the A key and move your mouse to the left when you are attempting to go left, the goes for turning right in the air. You must simultaneously press the D key and move your mouse right. The concept of turning in the air can also be applied to turning sharp corners on certain ramps.
Explain what you would do if someone was Text/Mic Spamming:
If a user was either Text or Mic spamming I would inform them that it is against the rules to do so and that need to stop, otherwise they would receive a mute.
I of course give the play at least three warnings before taking action depending on the severity of the spam. I like to think that I am very reasonable and won't punish players unless something becomes a problem.
For instance I would warn a person three times for text spamming numerous times; however this may vary depending on what the user is spamming in chat.
For a user who is mic spamming I would give them up to three warnings depending on what they're doing over the mic. For example of an extreme case a user who is frustrated with the map yells into his mic, I would warn him the first time he does it again, and if he were to scream loudly into his mic I would warn him once more, and say for some reason he does not heed my warning, then on the third time I would mute him. For a user who is playing god knows whatever ear rape into their mic I would warn the player once, and then if they did it a second time I would mute them.
Explain how you would deal with someone using an exploit on the server:
The first thing I would is ask the user to stop exploiting and ask them to report the Bug/Glitch on the forums or give me a detailed explanation of the Bug/Glitch so that I can make the post myself and inform higher ranking staff.
If the player does not stop I would first get a screenshot of their steam ID and issue a kick(Assuming I cannot ban as moderator), and then give the ID to higher ranking staff that can ban the player.
Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 75 words):
I feel that since I have returned from my community ban, I have become a contributing member of the community. I did a lot of growing up over the 2.5 years I was banned, and eventually decided to make an unban request. It has been about 5 months since I have been unbanned and the old me would have been banned within a week.
I think I would be a good fit for this position because I have proven myself to be a good staff member on Friendly Players before my resignation(EMP will even agree).
I can promise I will handle the responsibilities and power that come along with this position properly, and I can promise to not let you guys down.
