If a player is mass rulebreaking after being verbally warned, warned and kicked, if he/she continues it'll lead to a ban depending on how bad the rule break was. If a player is breaking rules but it is only minimal rules being broken they'd then be banned for 1-2 days, but for more serious rule breaks such as racism, or bullying etc it can be extended for longer, up to 1 week depending on how bad the player is being. - Ddos threats. If a player threatens to ddos the server or another player, they will be verbally warned as it may just be a joke but if the player does carry on he will be given a permanent ban. - Hacking. I would ask the player to stop hacking, if the player does not stop hacking after being warned he would be permanently banned. - LTAP. If a player was breaking rules and they get muted or gagged and leaves and rejoins to avoid their punishment they will be banned for 1 - 2 days depending on what was said leading to the mute and/or gag. - Death threats. If a player was sending another player death threats in game, I would first gag/mute the player and warn them for death threats, if they then carry on sending death threats to another player, they can get upto a 1 week ban. Explain any situation you had to work around in your time as a moderator. How could your promotion help this?: When I first got moderator like 2 - 3 weeks ago, after being trained I was the only staff member on the server who wasn't afk with about 25+ players and I was able to manage all of them, dealing with the rule breakers. Although if I was admin I would've been able to ban the rulebreakers who were not able to be banned as I am moderator. So this promotion would help me in a situation like this if it occurs again, which it most likely will, or if a player needs to be banned in general from excessive rule breaking. Why I should be promoted: (We recommend around 75 words) I should be promoted because I feel I am ready for the rank, from what I have done in game to help out newer players and players that may of been harassed by others, I feel that I have handled issues on the server well and without drama in the chat. I have helped out some staff members who may not know what to do in a situation that may occur, I also strive to handle all situations to the best of my abilities. |
