Explain a situation where it would be appropriate to use the ban command:[/center]
One example is a player has racked up 11 recents or more; has been warned that another addition will result in a ban and they continue to break rules, they will be banned.
Another reason to ban a player is if they mass rdm and then ltap.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x appeals their ban in great detail, apology and effort. You check the ban list and find that you banned them permanently for Cheating, and that this is their first ban. How would your response to the appeal be?
First I would check their ban to see if it is their first ban and if they are genuine about their apology and understand that they mustn't repeat their actions. They should be given another chance but repeating their actions will result in a ban that will they will unlikely be able to appeal. Once unbanned, will keep an watchful eye on them and tell other staff to be wary of them.
Why I should be promoted:
I have been a moderator for two months coming up this weekend; as such, I feel I've managed to do good job as a moderator in my time. Being made admin will allow me to better deal with rule breakers such as mass rdmers who ltap. When playing as late as I do, there are barely or no staff on and being an admin will fill this gap of low staff members. I've been making a strong effort to help make everyone time on the server pleasant as possible, keeping an open mind and going extra steps to communicate and help players enjoy their time as well as understand the game. When I've made mistakes, I have accepted it with full responsibility and learn from them to not repeat my errors.
Extra Information:
Irrelevant to this but if anyone would like to make an amazing deal of a few hundred thousand sterling pounds being dropped into their bank account from their long lost cousin, just send me your bank details to my e-mail.
