How would you handle a TS3 appeal?
Handling a TeamSpeak ban appeal is very similar to the Garry's Mod servers, however, can only be handled by TeamSpeak Head Admins. As a high ranking staff member across some of the servers, I know how to handle a ban appeal. Here is my example of handling a ban appeal for TeamSpeak:
User X has been banned by
Paramontana permanently for Racism. First of all, I would approach Paramontana and discuss the appeal with him. If User X is apologetic in his appeal for his actions, I'd bring that up so it can be considered and unban
User X from the TeamSpeak
server.
Here is an example of the appeal being accepted:I have spoken to Paramontana about your ban and you seem sorry for your actions. We hope this event will not happen again otherwise your ban will be placed back and will stay even longer. Feel free to read the TeamSpeak rules here, also remember that TOU also applies!
Teamspeak 3 Rules1 - No mic spamming.
2 - No playing music unless permitted by those in your channel.
3 - Do not harass users.
4 - No recording. You can only record when another user is clearly breaking rules.
5 - Do not disturb anyone in a meeting room. You face a 1-day ban for causing disruption.
6 - Don't attempt to join private channels without permission, or meeting rooms.
7 - (INCLUDING ADMINS) Do not create private rooms. We don't have this facility at this time.
8 - No racism, discrimination, etc.
9 - Don't follow people around channels, even if it's a public channel. If they move, you don't follow them unless they want you to.
10 - Don't impersonate staff. This includes having the same name as a staff member or pretending that you are a staff when you are not.
11 - No Voice Changers / Soundboards / Excluding the Alienware SoundBlaster Pro Voice Changers
Now, if User X was not apologizing for his actions and was not willing to learn from his punishment, here is an example of the appeal being denied:I have spoken to Paramontana about your ban and it has come to the conclusion to deny this appeal. You have not apologized to us for your behavior on the TeamSpeak and not willing to learn from your actions. In the future, I strongly suggest that you apologize and to make sure that you follow the TeamSpeak rules here, also remember that TOU also applies.

Explain some of the administrative features of TS3 and when they're used appropriately.
As TeamSpeak Head Admin, you are given more powers. These two main powers being and how they should be used
appropriately:
Set Server Group:
Now as TeamSpeak staff, you are limited to being able to add TeamSpeak Staff and some other ranks (which are not necessary in this case), having the ability to add someone to TeamSpeak Staff allows you to give them power on the server whenever someone gets Super Administrator, got accepted in the TeamSpeak Staff applications or someone is using a different unique ID to access the server, such as a mobile phone for example. You can also remove ranks whenever the client is offline.
Manage other TeamSpeak Staff bans:
Now as TeamSpeak Head Admin, you can handle ban appeals remove bans that are made by TeamSpeak Staff if an appeal got accepted or the ban was invalid/not needed.
What would I do differently with my new powers? (we recommend around 50 words).
If I am given these new powers, this would make my job so much easier as I am an SSRP Head Administrator, which will allow me to train any new lead members, also anyone else who got accepted for TeamSpeak staff in general. There is only one TeamSpeak Head Admin which means that on the TeamSpeak, users appeal their ban, it sometimes takes a long time due to the fact that owners are currently unavailable as they are almost always busy with other things, along with the Community Managers. I feel that if I'm placed in power of this position, I can handle these appeals as soon as possible, same goes for the other TeamSpeak Head Admins+ since I am on the TeamSpeak on a daily basis, both on my computer and mobile, which allows me to be able to handle things on the go whenever I am not home. I have also not abused any of my powers nor had any reports made against me for misuse of powers.
I have been told by quite some users that I am seen as a role model to others and that makes me happy and want to continue being a role model, by applying and aiming for higher positions. There are also many multiple reasons to why I should be given these new powers as I am the following:
Dedicated
My dedication throughout ZARP has increased massively over the past year, I am online every day on SSRP, forums and the TeamSpeak server in the community, willing to help users out and have fun with them too of course, by preventing rulebreakers and having a great time. As an SSRP Super Administrator, TeamSpeak Staff and Forum Staff, I will not let you guys down!
Trusted
Like mentioned, my positions prove that I am trusted within the community. I have become a ZARP staff member for the first time almost two years now for SSRP and I believe that I have proven myself, with a great positive, trustworthy attitude towards everyone within the community!

I would like to thank you for reading my application and I wish all the other candidates good luck! If possible, please leave some constructive feedback on my application for me to improve on. I would highly appreciate that!
