TOPIC: [FORUM] Jacknelli - Section Moderator Application

Some examples of how I staffed my sections when I used to be forum staff







Why You?:

I am a long standing and dedicated member of ZARP. I have been in this community for 3 years with a break inbetween time and I am part of the administrative team on zarps SSRP servers. When I make forum posts they are always neat organized and have no errors. I pay great attention to detail and I would do the same to the sections I am moderating. I am active on the forums as I come on daily during school and at home. Yes as you may notice I may not post a lot, that is becaus I do not like to make meaningless posts or to post just to get my numbers up. I would rather staff a section and focus on that as i enjoy staffing. I still come on daily and if i have a section to manage i will be able to do so on a daily basis as i have access to the forums all day. I know how to handle myself as a staff member and how to handle the responsibilities of a staff position. I joke around sometimes as we all do but when it comes to staff business and responsibilities I am more than mature enough and know what I am doing well enough to handle the situation. As a section moderator on the forums I will consistently handle my staff position responsibly and actively. I am already on the forums daily and will be able to handle problems on a consistent basis. All in all when it comes to staff responsibilities I know what I'm doing and am more than mature enough to handle any situation as I have a great deal of experience with being staff on zarp servers. I have been forum staff in the past in multiple sectionsand when i held the positions I did a very good job and was a great forum staff member.





Now, regarding the sections I am applying for:



Semi-Serious RP/DarkRP

I have been DarkRP staff in the past and I am currently an admin and do a great job with staffing the servers. I have a lot of experience with everything about DarkRP and all of the topics regarding DarkRP. I am one of the most qualified for this position as I am experienced with everything regarding the subject. I genuinely enjoy this gamemode and will be playing it for a long time. As I have said I've been DarkRP staff in the past and am right now which shows I am dedicated to the server and am not going anywhere. I am actively posting in various topics in the DarkRP section. I would be one of the if not the best candidate for the position.



General Discussion

The General Discussion section is one of the sections that needs the most moderating. Many people forget to change the section that they are making a post for from the default general discussion section. I would be able to manage these and move them to the correct sections as a section moderator. General discussion also a very broad category so it will have many things that require moderating. I have good judgement and could more that easily handle this section and this position.



Appeals

The Appeals section is another section that needs moderating and a section that I am qualified for. Many posts will need moderating or to be locked when the appeal is either accepted or denied by an admin. At that point the thread should be locked and as a section moderator that is on daily to manage those appeals I will be able to manage and lock threads myself and will not have to get a global mod to do it as I have in this Appeal.



Report Abuse

Many abuse reports do not follow the template and if they are not changed they should be locked and dealt with and not just left open. Some reports are simply a paragraph claiming someone abused and if they do not provide any actual evidence after being told to do so there is nothing that can be done about that report and they should be informed of that and the topic then be locked. This is a section that I could easily moderate and a section that I do not see many people applying for. I am mature enough to know when to lock reports and when to let higher ranking staff handle it and lock it depending on the severity of the report and who the report is against. If I feel the report should be brought up and talked about during the lead team meeting I will get in contact with them and inform them of the report.



Server Applications

This section is one that people mess up their posts in a lot and need things locked moved edited etc. I would be able to help in this section by keeping it clean and organized so that when meeting are coming up its easy to get the applications together. During meeting i could help reply to and lock posts and keep things current and on track. I am staff on the darkrp servers which get the greatest number of applicants each month and that is what i know best and have a great knowledge of so i would be able to help many players with their applications and keeping it organized.

I feel the roles would be more suited to someone who shows more of a presence on the forums within these sections. Good luck regardless!

I think you can only apply for the maximum of 2 sections.

@Cranky Yeah there was no limit when i used to be forum staff and I haven't heard anything about it changing. If it is the case it should be updated on the announcment post and the application template sooner rather than later so others don't do the same.

There is no limit to the amount of sections you can apply for.

I have not really seen you post on the forums. I suggest posting more.

Thanks man! I've been showing how much I can be active and have been doing my best to make helpful posts and handle things for people.
