Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario:
Random Death Match, more commonly known as RDM is when a player kills another player without a valid RP reason.
Example: Player X is getting some items out of his bank when all of a sudden he is being shot at by player Y, player Y kills player X and has just RDM'ed
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario:
New Life Rule, More commonly referred to as NLR states that when a player dies they may not return to, or interact with the district they died in for the next 3 minutes.
Example: Player X is being raided by player Y, player Y fails and dies in the raid, player X assumes he is safe now but out of nowhere player Y is back and kills him. Player Y has just broke NLR by returning to the district immediately after he has just died there.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
I would tp player X to a roof and check the logs to see who killed him. Then I would ask him what happened, I would then tp to player Y and ask him if he is free to be taken to a sit, if he answers yes i will bring him to the roof and ask for his side of the story. At this point if their stories are the same I would be able to judge if player Y had a valid reason to kill player X or not. If the stories differ i would ask player X if he has any evidence, if not i would apologize for not being able to give out any punishment due to lack of evidence. I would return them to their original positions and close the f1.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
I would tp player X to a roof and check the logs to see if player Y was breaking NLR. I would then tp to player Y and ask if he is free to be brought to a sit, if he answers yes i would bring him to the roof. If the logs show that he was breaking NLR i would ask him why he was breaking NLR, at this point i will check his recent warnings to see if he has been warned for NLR in the past, if yes i would warn him for NLR, if its a case that he is a new player and was unaware of the rules I would remind him to read the rules and let him off with a verbal this one time. If the logs do not show that he was breaking NLR I would inform player X that i cannot do anything unless he can provide me with sufficient proof. Then i would tp both players back and close the f1.
Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words): I really despise rule breakers and I know the rules really well and follow them. I am constantly making f1s for various reasons and I find that by the time the f1 gets handled I have another f1 to make, and I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem. I would like to help the server by minimising the amount of people experiencing issues such as long f1 wait times, logs resetting by the time their f1 gets handled, the person leaving before the report is handled, ect. Although I'm in the BST time zone I often stay up on zarp till 2-3am when theres no staff on and the server goes crazy. Sometimes I even do zarp dedicated all nighters. I hate making f1's just to be told that nothing will be done due to lack of proof, if i was staff I would help to catch more rule breakers. I have been limited to the forums the past two days as i have been in hospital, but I am now home and will be active again, hopefully my play record will prove that I am extremely active. Thanks for reading my application and taking me into consideration, Denis
