Explain "Random Death Match" and give an example scenario:
In the terms of SSRP - RDM is killing someone without a proper reason or motive (e.g. if a cop killed a citizen despite the citizen not having a weapon out). Another RDM example would be if a SWAT killed another "The Good Guys" (e.g. Police, SWAT Leader, SAS, Mayor ETC.) without prior valid reason to do so.
Explain "New Life Rule" and give an example scenario:
New Life Rule (NLR) is when a user dies in a district and they cannot return to that district until 3 minutes have passed, an example would be if a gangster died in Rich District (WHILST THERE IS NO ACTIVE RAID/NUKE) and they returned to that district before 3 minutes is up then they are breaking NLR.
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for RDMing him, the console log shows that player y killed player x.
First of all, I would take the F1 that was made by PX and get their story - they would tell me that PY RDMd PX. I would then check the Console Logs showing that PY killed PX - it may also help that I know what jobs PX and PY were to fully assess whether or not it was RDM. I would then bring PY into a sit (on the roofs) and ask them why they killed PX - if PY gives an invalid reason then they would be warned for RDM, if a valid reason is given then I would ask PX if they have valid evidence of this RDM (e.g. video).
Explain how you would handle the following situation:
Player x accuses player y for breaking NLR, the kills are pretty close together in console (a few lines apart) at a peak time.
I would look at the logs to see when PX killed PY and when PY is in the same district that they broke NLR in and if the kill is under 3 minutes then I'd first remove PY from the district until their NLR timer is over, then bring them to a sit if they did it again with a warning. In the event that PY has recents for NLR break then I'd warn them immediately cause they should know the NLR rule by now (this obviously doesn't apply when there is a raid).
Why I should be chosen (we recommend around 150 words):
I believe I should be chosen because I am enjoying SSRP quite a lot now and I feel with the users that constantly breaking rules I could hopefully lessen the amount of users that are breaking rules and speed up the time to handle F1's. Having being Lead Team for two servers I am well aware of Staff Ethos (etc.) and how to appropriately handle users who break rules. I'd love to give SSRP a go as well as being LT for the two servers and see where I can go from here
- I know the activity is looking lacklustre but I blame GT for not picking up my time + I'm gonna be active before the meeting
