I've corrected staff when they have needed to be corrected, and i think my actions are the actions needed to be apart of the lead team. What makes you a good candidate for the super administrator team? i believe im a strong candidate because of im aware of the rules. i don't break them i enforce them within reason, i don't lose my patience and i have a good eye for when someone is breaking the rules. i want staff to be more patient with players rather than throwing punishments left to right and centre. i want to help guide staff to be the best they can be, and to extend my permissions further to deal the appropriate punishments to those who need it. i want this server to stay at the top and i believe im capable of doing so. Explain a situation as an administrator you encountered that was an obstacle that required the help of a lead team member but you had to work around it when no lead team member was available: there's been a time there was a hacker on the server, i evaluated the situation and spectated the suspect for a good few round and was 100% certain he was cheating, there was no doubt in my mind. and without it disturbing the rest of the servers fun/gameplay experience i then proceeded to ban the hacker letting Xnator know of the situation, he then told me only lead team can deal with a potential hacker requesting me to unban the culprit, i did so and requested for a SA+ to come and check it out. Explain how you would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member: i would base it off what i have seen of that member of staff, and also ask for proof of the abuse, and ask for the time and date of the incident and ask if i can have access to the logs to see what commands the staff member did and what he typed. if he typed. i would also speak to the member of staff and ask to hear there side of the story. i would also ask some of the players in the game that were present at the time to see what happened. and go with what evidence points to. as well as asking for other lead staffs opinions on the situation. Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how do you approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly?: i would ask that staff member why he felt that amount of time necessary, i would then ask if they have considered spacing out the bans, for example, an hour then 2 then 4 then 8 so on. Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How would you resolve the situation? explain to them that they need to be patient with the user, and to keep calm and passive, as being rude with them will only make other players dislike them and question their abilities as a staff member which could result in more issue in the future. id tell the staff member what to say giving him a clear example of how to handle a tough situation as well as them gaining the experience form doing it with a helping hand. Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: A staff member accuses another staff member of breaking rules, how would you help resolve the situation? i would get both staff member in a private conversation asking each of them their side fo the story, and let them see if they figure it out. if not i would tell them if they were right or wrong in what they did. and how to go about it in another manner. Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: A staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards another staff member and or sparks an argument within the staff team. How do you resolve the situation? i would ask the staff member to calm down and try to help him/her realise what he/she said or did that was wrong and help him/her right his/her wrong. Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: You spot a staff member breaking rules to the point of harming other users, how do you approach the staff member? i would drag the staff member aside and explain to them what they are doing wrong, and if they need a thorough explanation i would go through the ETHOS with them step by step explaining everything they need to know in further detail and also explain to them that they need to keep a cool head as we set an example for alls staff not just ourselves, and by there actions they impact the rest of the staffs reputation. as well as the servers. |
