What makes you a good candidate for the super administrator team? ( in this part you can go as detailed as you want): I am a very approachable and fair person, During my time on zarp i have almost always held a staff rank and will always go out of my way to help anyone to the best of my ability, I believe I have proven myself to be a very dedicated staff member on ssrp with a wealth of experience at my fingertips I have been around for upwards on 10 years years and have a lot of knowledge about the community as a whole and having a full understanding of the balance between the staff team and players. Explain a situation as an administrator you encountered that was an obstacle that required the help of a lead team member but you had to work around it when no lead team member was available: During my time previously as staff on the SSRP, i have dealt with nearly every situation that you could possibly encounter, haver the extra powers that lead team ranks posses would allow me to effectively and efficiently deal with any situations that may arise on the server without the need to wait for members of the community team especially when it comes to cheating the ability to anti cheat is an invaluable tool to have. Explain how you would review and handle an abuse report against another staff member: I would inform the user i was dealing with this report, i would then reach out to the staff member and user, gather as much information that i could, based on all the information provided such as, logs, video, their own accounts of what happened, i would make a decision on what to do next depending on the severity, Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: A staff member bans a user for an excessive amount of time, how do you approach the staff member to ensure that everyone is treated fairly? I would first of all contact the player and ask about the situation that resulted in a ban, i would then contact the staff member and ask about his reasoning for the ban, If the ban was indeed excessive I would remind the staff member about the staff ethos and how punishments should be reasonable given the situation. I would also give the opportunity for the staff member to put right the situation right themselves, based of all of the information i would then decide if any further action should be taken or if i should just be noted down as me speaking to them about it. Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: A staff member is dealing with a user but is struggling to do so in an appropriate manner. How would you resolve the situation? Once i was made aware, i would first watch the staff member and see what the issue is. once i had identified there was an issue i would message the staff member and tell them to behave in an appropriate manner, if the staff member fails to change how they handle situations i would reach out again, and try to ascertain why it is they are acting like they are and if they are struggling with anything in particular or needed help with anything. If however i felt like it being done with malicious intent or they genuinely didn't care i would asses whether or not it should be brought up in the Lead team meeting. Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: A staff member accuses another staff member of breaking rules, how would you help resolve the situation? I would work with both staff members to identify if any rules had been broken, first contacting the staff member making the accusation and to hear the whole situation, then i would speak to the other staff member to hear their side of the story, If i identify any rule breaks i would speak to the staff member to see if it was a genuine over sight or if something more malicious was intended. I would explain the rules that were broken to the staff member, explain examples of it and give more of an insight into it especially if it was something they were struggling with. once again brining this up in the lead team meeting. Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: A staff member acts in a disrespectful manner towards another staff member and or sparks an argument within the staff team. How do you resolve the situation? I would speak to the staff member who instigated the situation, i would also contact those in the receiving end of the disrespect and give them the chance to talk it out and for anyone who needs to to apologise, i would them contact both groups of staff who has issues with the situation and offer them a chance to discuss it, in a respectful way on discord and hopefully it ends there. I would bring this issue up in the staff meeting to ensure that all staff member understand we are aware of the situation, i would also bring it up in more detail in the Lead team meeting and discuss any deep-rooted issues and things we should be aware of going forward. Explain in detail how you would act in the following situation: You spot a staff member breaking rules to the point of harming other users, how do you approach the staff member? I would first of all tell the staff member to stop what they were doing, depending on what rules were being broken and how that was impacting other players on the server i would ensure i had enought evidence either from others or what i had been able to obtain myself. before taking any further steps. I would let them know that what they were doing was having a negative impact on players on the server and the wider issues that may have on the community. I would bring the situation up in the lead team meeting, if the situation was that bad i would emergency demote the staff member inform the cm team and then bring it up at the next lead team meeting. |
