Give and explain 3 situations in which it would be appropriate to use the ban command:
Situation A: Player 1 has 3 recents, and he had just prop blocked spawn, it would then be appropriate to ban them for
Situation B: Player 2 has said the n word in ooc chat, and voice chat. After being unmuted they continue to do both again.
Situation C: Player 3 is constantly RDMing. After being kicked for having 3 recents of the same thing, he joins back and continues to MRDM at spawn, ruining other players fun on Zarp Gaming.
Explain in detail the main functions of the F1 menu and how this can be used to help you deal with situations on the server:
The F1 menu is a system that allows staff members to view recent admin requests, current NLR times, logs and recent warnings. This is very useful for staff members as they can easily handle admin reports against the very annoying rule breakers that roam the zarp gaming land of riverden. When on the active admin requests page, staff members can have the choice of handling the report or discarding it as spam. When handling the report, the staff member can choose to bring or goto the player who made the F1. When viewing the F1 menu, i am able to view the player information. On the next page from the admin request is the recent warnings page. Here we can view the latest warns that another staff member has given towards a player. On the next page, there is the logging system. Here we can view (since i join the server) the player logs. The information this gives us is: Player Deaths, Player Arrests, Job Changes, Name Changes and other DarkRP related actions. On the last page, it shows us the active NLRs that are currently on players. This means we can view where the player had died to (district) and how long they have left.
Explain in detail how you would handle the following situation:
You witness Player A being verbally abusive towards you through voice/chat whilst you are carrying out your administrative duties.
I would ask them to be respectful and polite when speaking to an administrator, as we try be as respectful as possible when handling non-bias situations and we would expect the same attitude back. If they disobey you and continue to verbally abuse me, I will mute or gag them, depending on what platform they are using to communicate. If this continues after I made these actions, I would warn them and follow it up with a higher up.
Explain in detail how you would handle the following situation:
Player A makes an appeal on a ban that was placed on them permanently for prop spamming, putting great apology and detail into the appeal, admitting to what they did. Explain the process of how you would handle this appeal.
Firstly, I would made a comment on the post to notify the victim that I was handling his appeal. I would then view who the staff member was who banned the player, and follow this up with him on whatever platform i could contact them on (probably discord or steam). We would discuss the situation on the punishment reason, giving my thoughts and opinion whether they should be unbanned or not. Following the outcome of the discussion, I would then reply to the appeal whether or not it has been accepted or not. If it has been denied, I would give a reason why so they have a better chance of getting accepted when they next appeal
Why I should be promoted (we recommend a minimum of around 150 words):
I started playing Zarp SSRP in 2016 halloween update. Since then, i have been moderatly active within the server and forums. I should be accepted for administrator on the Zarp Gaming SSRP server because I am very active, and when I am active on the server, I try to get all the F1s done as soon as possible. I am respectful and non-bias to all members of the community when handling situations. I am also active on the forums so i would be able to handle appeals and requests often. I share a similar timezone from alot of members that actively play (my timezone is GMT) so i will be able to hop on when the server count is high or even low.
I would like to point out that it has been over a month since i was unbanned and i have been very active since then and have not caused any drama or had any recents. Please take this in consideration

What server are you applying for? DarkRP (SSRP)
SteamID: STEAM_0:1:225888943
Current Gametracker Profiles:
Server 1 www.gametracker.com/player/Luiss/darkrp.zarpgaming.com:27015/
Estimated Server Time: Around 3,000+ hours across this and past accounts, likely more including older ZARP servers
Languages I speak: English
About Me
Outside of ZARP, I’ve had experience running and managing communities. I previously ran a Minecraft server called Alveron, where I handled staff management, rule enforcement, player disputes, and general server operations. I eventually stepped down due to being more busy with other activities, but that experience taught me a lot about leadership, responsibility, and keeping a community running smoothly.
I am also going to college for Computer Engineering, which has helped shape how I approach problems. I tend to think logically, stay calm under pressure, and focus on long term solutions rather than quick reactions. That mindset carries over directly into how I handle staff situations and server decisions.
Traits and Abilities
My time as a Super Administrator has helped me build strong judgment and consistency. I’ve handled a large amount of F1s, long sits, bans, unbans, and situations where I was the only staff online. I’ve learned how to stay calm, avoid rushing punishments, and make sure decisions are fair and justified.
I’m reliable and active, usually online from around 2 PM to 1 AM EST, and I take responsibility seriously. If something needs to be handled, I make sure it gets done properly.
Personality
I’m straightforward, respectful, and easy to approach. I don’t believe in abusing authority or talking down to people, but I’m also not afraid to step in and be firm when needed. I handle disagreements calmly and try to keep things professional at all times.
I care about ZARP’s reputation and the staff team, and I try to lead by example rather than just enforcing rules.
Leadership Experience
As a Super Admin, I regularly support other staff, especially newer admins who may be unsure how to handle situations. I guide them without being harsh and make sure they understand what went wrong instead of just correcting them.
Running my own server in the past also gave me experience dealing with staff issues, conflict resolution, and maintaining consistency. Those responsibilities are very similar to what’s expected from a Head Administrator.
Situations Faced as a Super Administrator
I’ve dealt with mass rule breaking, ban appeals, unbans, and correcting mistakes when situations get hectic. Player disputes have been less common recently due to lower activity, but I’ve still handled a lot of bans, unbans, and fixes to make sure players were treated fairly.
When something is above my authority, I make sure to gather proof, document everything, and pass it up properly instead of letting situations get messy.
Understanding of ZARP Processes
I have a strong understanding of how ZARP operates, including staff hierarchy, escalation procedures, punishment guidelines, and expectations at higher ranks. I understand that Head Administrator is not just an in game role but also involves responsibility behind the scenes, staff discussions, and setting standards for others.
What I Wish to Achieve as Head Administrator
As Head Administrator, I want to help keep staff consistent, professional, and supported. I want to be someone Super Admins and Admins can rely on, and help address staff issues early before they turn into bigger problems.
My goal is to help SSRP stay structured, fair, and enjoyable without unnecessary changes.
Final Thoughts
I wouldn’t be applying for Head Administrator if I didn’t believe I was ready. I’m active, committed to ZARP, and serious about helping the server continue moving in a positive direction. Thank you for taking the time to read my application.

Give and explain 3 situations in which it would be appropriate to use the ban command:
A player has no intention of roleplaying/following the rules and is causing mayhem on the server such as attempting to crash the server, mass racism in OOC/Advert, using blatant cheats such as aimbot to mass rdm (however beforehand I would freeze said player and request permission to use the ban command).
A player has multiple recent warnings (I would say around the 7-10 mark) and is continuing to break the rules.
Player A reports that Player B has scammed them a Nano Suit during a coinflip with clear evidence, before putting a ban in place I would explain to Player B that he has the chance to pay the Nano Suit immediately or be banned. I would also inform Player B that the only way to get unbanned is to pay the Nano Suit or come to an agreement with Player A. At that point if Player B still refuses to pay Player A I would ban them, if at any point after the coinflip Player A had reported Player B leaves the server I would use the /ban command.
Explain in detail the main functions of the F1 menu and how this can be used to help you deal with situations on the server:
To be able to check and handle players reports. On top of that it makes it much easier to "Go to" or "Bring" a player via the f1 menu
To be able to check current warnings/punishments which can aid in what action you take for a f1 sit
The most important part, the logs. The logs can aid you in finding out who killed who, with what weapon and in which district. On top of that you can see timing for players rp actions such as killing or job switches which can be important for a NLR report. You are able to see job changes for potential job abuse. You are able to see want reasons if someone is abusing the feature to unfairly attack/arrest a player. If someone reports RDA you are able to see the arresting player although proof is still needed.
To be able to check who has active NLR, this can be used to make sure the players are following NLR
Explain in detail how you would handle the following situation:
You witness Player A being verbally abusive towards you through voice/chat whilst you are carrying out your administrative duties.
I would first determine what was said and compare it to would it be okay to say in ooc without problem if not I would first issue a verbal warning and inform them that if they continue I would issue scaling mutes. The exception of this is if other players heard it and would be negatively impacted then I would most likely start with a 5 min mute then inform the player saying said things it would scale if they continued afterwards.
Explain in detail how you would handle the following situation:
Player A makes an appeal on a ban that was placed on them permanently for prop spamming, putting great apology and detail into the appeal, admitting to what they did. Explain the process of how you would handle this appeal.
I would first try my best to contact the player and have a short conversation about what happened and question the apology to see if they are truly sincere and this was a one off mistake because well we have all been there at one point or another. If yes I would contact the banning staff member and explain that the player is truly sorry for the prop spam and see if me and the banning staff member can come to an agreement to have the ban lowered or removed, I would try to aim for a lowered ban if it just for a couple more days so the player has enough time to be thankful to return to ssrp and time to read and understand the rules.
Why I should be promoted (we recommend a minimum of around 150 words):
Ex head admin, very professional and I run drama hole very very well. Please see included my permission from a none biased source

Give and explain 3 situations in which it would be appropriate to use the ban command:
1. If someone has no intent to roleplay and is consistently breaking rules a ban for a day or two may be reasonable
2. If Player A did a coinflip with Player B without using the menu and both players have agreed to a set of rules and did a coinflip and Player B decided not to pay that would be a permanent ban for scamming until they pay back
3. if a player came on the server and started to be racist to an extreme, a ban would be put in place after being punished via a mute prior
Explain in detail the main functions of the F1 menu and how this can be used to help you deal with situations on the server:
Admin Requests: When users make an f1 the request will pop up here, you can choose to handle, unhandled , close, and teleport to the player, it shows the time it was made which means you can check the exact time of the incident in the logs
Warnings: This section shows the recent warnings that staff has given to players, this will show player's name, the warn reason, and the staff's name
Logging: The main section on the f1 menu, shows logs of the server, it shows kills, arrests, money drops, name changes, and disconnects, it helps in f1s as it shows the times and who kills who.
Active NLR: This shows who has NLR currently on the server, this does not include tac or mummy suits, it shows the district, the users name, and the time remaining
Explain in detail how you would handle the following situation:
You witness Player A being verbally abusive towards you through voice/chat whilst you are carrying out your administrative duties.
I would ask them in OOC or in voice to kindly stop and if they kept on continuing I would be forced to mute them, if they continued further punishment would be put in place
Explain in detail how you would handle the following situation:
Player A makes an appeal on a ban that was placed on them permanently for prop spamming, putting great apologies and detail into the appeal, admitting to what they did. Explain the process of how you would handle this appeal.
I would first go on to the appeal and type handling, and then go speak to the staff member who punished the player and speak about the appeal. Depending on the conversation, it is up to the admin who punished the player to accept or deny, after the conversation, I will type one of the following.
1. Accepted
Hello User I have spoken to the admin who punished you and we have decided to unban you, you have made it clear in your appeal that you are sorry. Please make sure you do not do this again as you will be put on the ban list again
2. Denied
Hello, User, I have spoken to the admin that punished you and we have decided that now is not the time for you to be unbanned, although you have put a lot of effort into your appeal we think it is too early for you to be unbanned at this time, i would recommend playing a point shop server to gain some trust.
Why I should be promoted (we recommend a minimum of around 150 words):
I believe I should be promoted to admin again as I am on the server consistently and do not break any rules. I have countless hours on Gmod, which does not include just Zarp. I was staff on multiple servers, including Zarp, and each time I served as staff, I did some good work. This promotion to admin would benefit me, as some commands are very useful, whereas a moderator's lower rank limits my staffing capabilities, such as banning or freezing people with a physgun. Giving me admin would enable me to deal with rule-breakers more fairly and ban those who do not care at all. I believe I have the previous experience and the capability to be a good administrator on the server. I would also be able to handle forum reports when others cannot, and during times when there are rule-breakers, I would be there when admins are not. I also have staff experience on an upcoming server, which is very similar to SSRP, so why not Jits?

Hello Stewie,
I have spoken to the staff member who had made the decision to ban you and tried gaining as much information as I could from their prospective. I also want to create a few exemptions and clarifications here given I have been in this type of scenario quite often in the past from being a regular SSRP player for almost 10 years (sad), because I want this outcome to be the best result for both parties.
I will start with some clarifications;
Rabbi Clockwork wrote:
I went up and bought the doors and popped down an rp house sign. After going into MY building I discovered that their were people PRINTING IN MY HOTEL! I gave them the chance to take their stuff and leave unharmed but they ignored me and continued printing in my hotel so I took measures into my own hands and had no other choice but to kill the scary robot. So typically when I personally come across something like this, my stance is that it would be completely unreasonable to force people out of their base whilst they had been printing there the entire time, regardless if you just bought the door however I want to also bring up the fact that the doors were owned previously by one of the members who were basing there until a server restart had been enforced by Donny (more likely due to the 3-day uptime precision loss we all dread to play on), therefore the doors were unowned unintentionally but really should've been rebought as they are no longer owned upon restart.
Log of alleged base member initially buying the front doors: Tue Aug 5 12:34:01 2025 [CHAT] [ZARP] Sinz l kickback (STEAM_0:0:3818233) <Gangster>: /toggleown
Tue Aug 5 12:34:02 2025 [CHAT] [ZARP] Sinz l kickback (STEAM_0:0:3818233) <Gangster>: /toggleown Log of restart: Tue Aug 5 16:26:43 2025 Server succesfully shut down.
Tue Aug 5 16:27:02 2025 Gamemode fully loaded, ready to accept connections. Log of Stewie buying the doors: Tue Aug 5 22:01:24 2025 [CHAT] Albert Whisker (STEAM_0:1:84015634) <Citizen>: /toggleown
Tue Aug 5 22:01:25 2025 [CHAT] Albert Whisker (STEAM_0:1:84015634) <Citizen>: /toggleown
The base members had a total of 5 hours, 34 minutes, and 23 seconds to repurchase their door but failed to do so, I'm also going to just assume that they had used no props in their defences because people really don't do that nowadays so it wasn't glaringly obvious that people were basing there unless I am wrong, this wouldn't change my outcome regardless. Now given the time they had to repurchase the doors before Stewie had bought them, it's hardly excusable because if it was within a much shorter timespan then I'd be very onboard with the people basing. If you're going to base, at least make an effort to buy the front doors and defend the property in its entirety than auto clicking on a printer shelf, you've probably made your dosh from the lack of risk involved anyways.
Rabbi Clockwork wrote:
He told me its the rule where if you put something down in a building it means you own said building. I was confused and requested which rule this was to which he ignored. I then pointed out rule 4.14a mainly the part where it states "The owner of a property is the person that owns the main door". He told me its the rule where if you put something down in a building it means you own said building. I was confused and requested which rule this was to which he ignored. Rule 4.14a is exactly what Stewie had copy-pasted from the SSRP rules, whether Donny said what was claimed in the appeal, is unknown because I've had word vs word on that claim.

before you join, zack had already bought a door inside. if you follow the rules you mentioned, that room also belongs to him completely. you have no right to break in without his permission. If the remaining rooms inside are also bought by others, you have no right to enter other people's rooms. you only have the right to use the rooms outside. what you really want is raid. everything you said is just your excuse. None of the doors inside are applicable, none of you owned the front door for hours after the server restart, amplified chances were given purely from how long you guys had them unowned for.

Defending a RP House is not a thing due to the fact that it’s prohibited to raid one to begin with. Unless specifically stated, this is not true. You have all the rights to do what you want within accordance to the rules & defend your own property, albeit that people were already basing inside, there is no wrongdoing in taking action on your own property and always has been this way. Your better course of action would've simply been to use the command /forceunown on the front doors and reclaim have whoever reclaim the front doors of the base because respectfully they were still utilising it anyways.
Regardless of Stewie being the Hotel Owner job, this simply does not change anything, because he owned the front doors and should not be subjected to punishment as I have previously mentioned, the front doors had more than enough time to be rebought. In the future, I strongly...

I just wanted to say I’ve read through your appeal, and honestly, it sounds like you’ve been put in a pretty unfair situation. If the building was indeed yours and you had already bought the doors and set up your RP scenario, it doesn’t make sense for you to be punished for trying to protect your own property—especially after giving the people inside a chance to leave peacefully. That sounds more like responsible RP than raiding.
The way the rules were explained to you by Donny seems really inconsistent with how they’re written, and if they’re being enforced selectively or misinterpreted, that definitely needs to be addressed. You shouldn’t be getting permanently banned for defending your space, especially when you took the time to clarify the rules and were open to letting the intruders leave.
Also, the personal insults and being called names during the sit are unacceptable. That kind of behavior from a staff member is unprofessional and shouldn’t be tolerated in any community. Staff should be there to mediate and apply the rules fairly, not ignore valid concerns or allow others to disrespect players.
I hope someone neutral and fair looks into this appeal properly. It really feels like your side of the story deserves a proper hearing without bias.
Best of luck, man. Hope you get unbanned soon and things get sorted out the right way.

I know last month my attitude wasnt great but i have vastly improved this and only had 1 warning in the past month.
Thanks for reading my Administrator Application, reply with your opinions
