Even though its clear that he has broken a rule i think its minor.
And taken into consideration how active he has been as Admin on duty i think a demote i way to harsh
Mhm, well think how bad it looks to not know this rule as an admin?
Also, a Warn could work also just up to the Super admins.
I don't want to stir up a argument, but here is my thought on some of the latest ban/demote/whatever requests
i think this whole you break a rule and its a demote/ban has gone a bit to far. i get that there needs to be rules in order to have people behave properly, and people who purposely break the rules also get the appropriate punishment,
But There can be stopped a lot of hatred and backstabbing in the early tracks if you guys could just talk before posting a ban request.
An IRL example of this would be, if a man walks in my garden, the first thing i would do would be to ask him to leave, if he refuses i would THEN call the cops. (except if you live in Texas, there you shoot, then ask, then call the cops.
)
The same should be applied on the server, this would be a much healthier thing to do.
Just stop and tell Geoffrey that he can't have a weapons as a hobo. Explain that its failRP
If this is done properly I'm sure Geoffry would have holstered his weapon and apologized.
and if he refuses and insists to keep his weapon even though hes breaking rules, then go to the forums and make a demote like this.
TL;DR: Talk to the person before making a Ban Request.
