It's not a slur at all, I'm just saying what I think happened here, whether or not it was the right thing to have happened - I think when you have people throwing around insults at one another and often doing so in a discriminatory manner (ie. people using "gay" as an insult - it's not a slur, but when used in an insulting manner, is discriminatory), it can be easy to assume that something was being said in an insulting context. Bear in mind that tone doesn't come across in text, and some people have a harder time reading tone than others when they don't have vocal cues.

This is fair and I would tend to agree but I’d also expect staff to at least wait and consider the context behind messages rather than jumping in, being all high and mighty, without actually having a grasp on the situation. A learning experience I suppose.

Hello Revine,

I've talked to Kuba about the fact how he approached you when you're only making a joke, I gave my opinion that It wasn't offensive at all and that he should only interact with doing his duty when it is a real issue/problem or an F1 report.
(If the user has a problem with getting called out for Jewish in this case)
However, He explained that he just saw this as offensive towards his beliefs. I have told him that he shouldn't interfere if the user didn't find it offensive. ( As only if the X player calls Y a Jewish guy and X gets reported by the Y)

He has apologized towards me for his actions and wants to apologize towards you for interfering.
He has stated this won't happen again.
