I’ve known Lewis for a while now, and he is a jokester. He does this to everyone, and I remember him picking on me when I applied for prop hunt moderator 9 months ago

I can tell you that what Lewis says is not literal, and all he likes to do is have a laugh with people. So please don’t take lewis’ jokes seriously...

It's okay, if I call Lewis a classic retard (as a friend) it will cancel out and all will be good in the world!

I don't think the guy does it to intentionally offend people, he just jokes like a lot of people on the internet,
but in my opinion some borderline terms like retard should be avoided altogether.

as stated above narexa hit the nail bang on the head, and it just seems like you're doing this just to get him punished

Bear in mind that disrespectful behaviour and harassment can be different things - if you think a post on the forums is disrespectful the best course of action is to send a message to a Section Moderator+ and/or use the Report to Moderator feature on the forums.

If you think this is something which has gone on and may be targeted, it's a good idea to either contact the user yourself and ask them to stop or get the relevant staff member to do this for you. If it continues after this point, then further action may be appropriate.

It doesn't look like the prior steps have been taken here, so Lewis can take this as a notice that you don't appreciate his comments and that he should be making sure to follow the Terms of Use (including with terms that may not be appropriate for him to use!) and being careful when making what he may consider to be "jokes" and how they may be received by other people. If this continues, feel free to contact a member of the forum staff about it!
