Volcano was me. Not Richard.
I'd also like to point out there is a reason I haven't been around for a while. It's DEAD's job to keep track of what I am doing, and he knows the reason.
Alright then, why can't the users who clearly feel the need to know, know what you are doing? You don't have to say anything confidential, just use your head.
It's personal reasons. DEAD knows to an extent, but I'm not going to go around stating personal things here.
Prophunt doesn't need specific updates; it never has done, as it has always pretty much just been fine with Pointshop updates and occasional bug fixes / improvements for the gamemode, and that lets the server do fine (that is how it was when it was number 1 as well). I do the Pointshop updates, and, by extension, Prophunt updates.
The last Pointshop update was originally going to be specific to Prophunt, since I planned out most of the content before getting Community Developer, but obviously that ended up going across the whole Pointshop instead.
Prophunt as a gamemode is limited in what you can really add to it without ruining the entire gamemode and having an adverse effect, so most of it does just come from the Pointshop. The only other thing is maps, and the only maps I have which have been accepted that I have noted down are ones with CSS textures which are incredibly awkward to add (and they will
not bring in players to the extent you may assume, due to different map names from gametracker after recompiling with the textures) - this is also something Richard cannot do. For some reason, people are under the impression that Richard recompiled ph_volcano with the textures, however he couldn't work out how to use the software, so I was the one who did that.
There's no real need for a specific Server Owner for Prophunt. Meetings can be done by a Head Admin if I am unavailable / busy (as I have been for a little while) and there is little else that needs to be done. Not all servers need a dedicated Server Owner for them, and Prophunt can manage perfectly fine from the Pointshop updates. Community Developer essentially entails the role of a Server Owner, but across all of the servers, meaning that, whilst Prophunt is not my primary focus, I do still manage the server behind the scenes, something which can be seen from the fact that I speak about it in the Server Owners meeting.
If you have concerns, you can ask DEAD, and I am sure he can clarify for you.
