Upload the gif to a image hosting site, then get the source URL for it (that means it will have .gif on the end of the URL), you can do this by right clicking on the image and selecting the 'Copy URL' button. Once you have this link, go to your forum profile and find the signature box; enter an image tag into the box - http://theURLgoesHERE
