So the creator of Garrys Mod has been working on a new project lately called "S&Box", basically a new sandbox game which is similar to Garrys Mod but with an overall Update. I would like to hear other peoples opinions on this : ). Damn those graphics for the rockets! Being serious though if the game turns out to be a success it would be cool for Chute to get working on a server for it as a test if it would be worth switching or something. In my opinion Gmod really got big as it is based of the source engine as it has all the quirks and fun of source the reason why its so good is its issues and bugs. One big selling point is that its its not realistic new (ish) games such as cod or battlefield focus on the realism whereas source is more enjoyable as it has unrealistic movement making it so much enjoyable as its something to have a difference between the good and the bad. Players will practice bunny-hoping to make them better whereas in most new games there isn't that enjoyable aspect of motion everyone can hold W and pres space whereas it takes actual practice to bunny-hop or surf giving a reason for people to play and practice to show off how good they are. (probably didn't make any sense to you but it did for me)

Edit: also if the community decided to move the entire gamemode will need to be programmed again unless it does run on lua, even then it would be a bitch to move
