And this is exactly my point; Zarp has become way too soft on people that are hacking or doing things that would have got them banned.

I don't believe we should perma-ban them, I think we should consider just how much they disrupted the server first. For example if they RDM'd with wall-hacks, aim-bot, etc and made someone lose for example a minigun 2.0, then maybe we should ban them.

Although I disagree with it, 80% of the people here believe perma banning is the best option. Could I request a new poll with some sort of middle ground? A vote option for kick, a vote option for 1-month ban and a vote option for a perma ban - who knows, with some sort of middle ground people might agree more on the matter.

I believe that the difference between a kick and a perma ban is too big to really get a proper conclusion out of this. I'm 100% sure there are at least a few people out there that havevoted for the perma ban option, even though they believe that it is too harsh. But because the kick option is too soft, they voted for the ban option anyways.

This does seem like a good course of action. Maybe a ban from anything from 1 week to 1 month for the first offense (with a very low chance of an appeal being accepted), and then if they get caught hacking again, then onto a permanent ban. A straight up perma means you can just appeal it, but only a kick is too lenient.

Not everyone replied to the poll, you know - they just voted what they believe is the best option out of the two options given to them. And since the two options differ greatly, people will vote on what they agree with the most, even though it might not be what they actually want.
