From what i remembered when i played csgo a year ago was that once you lost your rank, You have to win your next game in order to get it back, if you lose your next time you will derank. Not sure how much but quite a bit.

That changed a long time ago. But will I lose my rank if I don't play for 16 days? So I'll have to play another match to display it? I read it takes about 28 days. That's why I'm worried cause it took me some time to get that rank dude.

Its not 16 days, its about 30 days or so
