TOPIC: Update on my new setup [Replies needed]

Update on my new setup [Replies needed] 7 years 6 months ago #651368

Got an update from Ironside (The website I was originally using) Asking for proof of credit card validation (With last 12 digits covered, of course) and I'm not at my grandpa's (Who bought it for me) So I cancelled the order since I had the oportunity now.

I will be buying a better setup as that one was obviously upcharged to pure hell. Even their support admitted it.

Now, can I get some honest replies please?

Should I buy this setup, or do you reccomend something different?

Personally I would recommend getting instead of the 1800x a 1700 and overclocking it to 3.7 GHz, because then you get a 0.1 GHz more then the base clock speed of the 1800x. So you're basically getting the same thing for a lower price. And personally I would get a 144 Hz monitor instead of dual 60 Hz. Unless you're planning to do streaming etc. then I would recommend you getting 1 60 Hz monitor and 1 144 Hz monitor if your wallet allows that. Other than that, everything looks ok

You seem like you know what you're talking about. Can you add me on steam so we can talk?
