i heard you work for Microsoft. if you do can you help me and give me some advice?
i am a IT technician now and i want to start to get certified in Microsoft. i want to do some sort of software what do you recommend? i have been looking on IT job search and i have been looking at an Software Architecture but i just want to hear from you if you work for Microsoft what is a good software role in Microsoft? |

That's fantastic. Can I ask what level your at currently in terms of your study. i.e. Are you still doing GCSEs, A Levels or in higher education? |

well i dropped out of college and now im an apprentice IT technician for level 3 advanced IT (something like that) and when i was doing my wibinar on networking and protocols the guy who was doing it was telling me after i get that apprenticeship done go for software Architecture to do a 6 month training thing with Microsoft and get a job in it.

So I take it you are more interested in going down the IT Ops route rather than development? I highly recommend Pluralsight for training and courses in both areas. You should focus on areas your interested in learning about and then once you're ready it's as simple as booking the certification exams here: www.microsoft.com/en-gb/learning/default.aspx After that it'll definitely look great on your resume and will be a good talking point in any interview. |
