Why don't they permanently keep it? People love it! Maybe just during events and updates?

I agree, it's a fun addition and a great item sink. That will probably improve the economy

Over time I think that it may ruin the price of rare items for example the Nano Suit, and make them common, not rare. This could ruin the economy.

Maybe I mixed this with something else, but isn't the item o matic the thing that you out three items in and have a low chance to get better one you computer parts.
