TOPIC: Just a question for a CPU

I was just wondering and i did alot of research on this but i kind of got confused every other video/post.

So AMD now has cheap CPU's like Ryzen 5 1600, but i still don't get it are they better than i7 even tho i7 is pricy of ir i7 better than the AMD just that AMD is for budget gamers

AMD CPU's overheats if you don't have a decent cooling system also they use a fuckton of electricity. (Ryzen is a little bit less powerful than an i7 if you're gaming)
i7 is not really worth it if you are only going to game an i5 will be enough

Ryzen 5 1600 is really good for his price but the i7 is better for gaming, i suggest the Ryzen because its cheaper for like 100 dollars

Well i've seen like comparinsons and i saw that the amd runs more smoothly now idk but i saw alot of vids and it has really good preformance maybe just spend a bit more on coolers and what so ever?

Ryzen is actually better than a lot of I7 Cpu's, it can perform slightly better than a 6770k, which is double it's price.

However Ryzen, requires other hardware upgrades, such as motherboard if not supporting it's new socket, or ram.
Same goes for some of the intel i7 cpu's, however they are primarily just the Ram

Ryzen uses DDR4 ram.

AMD, once threadripper comes out, should actually start dominating the CPU market, with AMD starting to be the better choice over intel.

Also, you will get people say "INTEL IS BETTER WORTH THE MONEY", when actually it is not. If you are on a budget, go for AMD, specially with the new cpu's and architecture they have going currently, Intel is really just expensive, and with some things they have planned, will actually be going backwards(a shitty scheme).

All in All

If you have a fair amount of money, feel free to go with Intel,
If you are on a budget, go with AMD,
or if you just want best for money, go with AMD in general, specially with a AMD 480(very good performance to money)


P.S don't spend stupid money on water cooling, as they are not best for money, and are just more maintence.

Just get a decent cooler, such as Coolermaster Hyper 212 evo, and then spend some money on better fans.
Research in to getting different types such as High pressure fans.

I always use i7. i will never game with something other than I7

I've seen amd run waaay smoother than i5/i7 it's just the temperatures but that can be reduced plus i think the best gaming cpu rn of amd is Ryzen 5 1600 others i think are just for editing what so ever
