TOPIC: Safety Warning

Hello guys/girls,
I know y'all haven't heard from me in a while but I came across something today that needed to be posted so everyone can remain safe. I know before I went inactive people was trading Snapchat names so they can send each other silly pictures but the recent update now gives out your location.

Yes, I know but RedPowder I made a fake snapchat with a fake name so people can't find me well your fake name still gives your real location so if you don't want this then keep reading so you can learn how to turn it off and keep yourself and friends safe.

The update automatically has location sharing switched on unless users switch to 'ghost mode. This allows you to see the exact area, town, street and even house in the street of any user.

To keep safe make sure the app is the updated version and go to selfie mode on the camera then zoom out and It will give you the option of changing to who can see your location.

It actually doesnt share your location untill you allow it too, once you open the map you will be able to choose ghost mode or share mode untill then your location stays hidden.You're the first one i have heard of having your location on automatically, you must've had some setting as none of my snapschat friends had their location shared

This is exactly what Jordan Johnston did to me. He screenshotted my location and sent it to me on snapchat saying "i know where you live ' Stay safe kids.

(For me it doesn't really matter, you can google my exact address if you know what to search xD)

does it really matter if they know your locations because i have no problem in people finding out my location as what the worse that could happen they come to your house and what lol i just dont get why people really trying to hide it
