TOPIC: The situation surrounding my ban

Essentially, from what I can gather of this situation, I stood up against someone who tried to make a joke out of my dead friend who then tried to bribe us into keeping quiet, from which I was banned.

What did he receive for an extensively worse TOU break?

Absolutely

NOTHING.

Multiple people were EXTREMELY offended by this statement including myself, but since it was an accident you'll let it slide?

Either way, if it isn't bannable, he still posted without reading the post, which is non-constructive and in turn against the TOU.

Are you trying to tell me that standing up against this is worse than actually doing it? Because if so, I'm quite honestly disgusted with the staff of this community, as you don't even attempt to uphold your morals.

The way in which this has been handled is horiffic.

I honestly don't care for his apology; the fact that it took little to no effort, he didn't even attempt to improve it at a later date, and he went and screwed up IMMEDIATELY after invalidates it, in my eyes

For reacting to someone joking about my dead friend, while I was still very emotional about it as it was new information, I receive a ban.

For joking about my dead friend, even while it was a mistake, he receives NOTHING.

For attempting to bribe his way out of the situation, he receives NOTHING.

My reaction was rather mild for my standards, as I have reacted in a much more aggressive manner in the past, yet I received no punishment.

I am currently banned as I write this, and I intend for it to be posted at a later date.

There has been a severe lack of morals in the handling of this situation, and I'm posting this to stop it from happening again and hopefully allow the forum staff to learn from it.

There is no reason for this to be locked/deleted, this post is made with the best intentions, which are overall improvement of everyone involved, and is NOT intended to start drama. I will be contacting forum staff if attempts at starting drama are present.

I hope that this will not be very quickly deleted/locked, and if it is, it is due to someone (NO ONE SPECIFIC, NOT TRYING TO CALL ANYONE OUT) having an inability to handle the truth. (see my above statement)

On Topic - I feel what GB+ done was stupid due to the fact you stood up against the slyest person. Because I think if one of the staff done it and they got reported, all that would get said to them is "dont do it next time" It is very unfair

You targeted Banana by using his mistake as an excuse to attack him. You need to realize it.

I was annoyed by what Banana had said also but he apologized that those were not his intentions and when this forum banned user said something and didn't apologize, he got what was coming and got banned.

There's honestly no need to make this a bigger deal than it already is and I think it'll be best if this topic gets locked or deleted, one or the other.

sorle was issued a ban for his mistake, banana got off with absolutely nothing.

either punish both or dont punish neither.
