I have said this to a lot of people over Teamspeak, but I'll say it here too:

The reason why a lot of people have been resigning (and I can actually tell you more will resign soon) is because it is the start of the summer and the end of the school year. A lot of people are coming into a new chapter of their lives, filled with stress and different things to do.

A lot of people will be busy with sorting their life out. Obviously people will resign during this time period - it's just rather surprising they all do it on the same day.
