One of the many great quotes that explains how a notorious rapper by the name of a rapper that is signed to the Def Jam record label with many popular songs such as Party Up and X Gonna give it to Ya where this is taken from Earl Simmons or as he is commonly referred to as DMX wich is a abbreviation for "Dark man X" hence the reference of X being a shortened version of an abbreviation of Dark Man X who is the Stage name for a rapper by the name of Earl Simmons and he is going to give "It" to ya and by it there are many references that can be made to determine what it means, Is it a Package? no it would not be a package because this delivery man would be very hostile then and I would think that they would use a more formal greeting to explain that something is going to be received as if there is a parcel in transit there would most likely be an unknown with who will be delivering the package where this is most likely then referring to "It" as being a metonymy to describe a form of delivering of a Verbal from or a physical way in the form of a physical punishment. This is still a lyrical mystery for many Literacy scholars to discuss for decades and to avoid a 1000 page thesis or doctoral thesis which if someone would be trying to achieve the highest degree you can achieve in one's field (a doctorate) would need to write and will be marked in order to determine if the subject will become a doctor and it is also known as a Long essay for the simple minded (I'm saving that to sell to someone who wants their doctorate) writing I will leave it at this and let your mind dabble at this proposition for a bit and you can decide for yourself what X was meaning when he said that.
