TBH, I think that this would be able to exist at the same time as the server that myself and hazz (and Luan) are working on, with ours as a vanilla server with plugins, and then this as a modded server. Some players like mods, and some players either don't have the PC requirements for using mods, don't want to install modpacks or just prefer a non-modded server. For those who like mods (myself included), this would be great, and for those who don't, there would always be the other, more classic server with plugins and gamemodes.

Anon is very trusted, and knows a lot about MC and stuff in general, I think this would definitely work, depending on the execution of it.

Btw xnator, the user doesn't have to install any mods, as the modpack is within the FTB launcher. and i would get another one added for zarp, so the user just clicks Launch and it downloads all requirements.

and yes, having a normal bukkit/spigot related server and a modded server would be good, giving more wide of a community base.

But It would have to be something new with the leas test and newest mods and maybe something like tekkit classic or custom

Minecraft has been suggested many times.
The only person who ever made a good plan of aproach and had a good plan was Vitx back when he used to own it.
EVery body else who has suggested has came with a very poor concept.
Hope this concept is close to vitx his concept.
