TOPIC: "AIM key"

So I was looking through my mouse customization settings and I found this option "AIM key", never heard of something like this so now I'm wondering what does it do (google didn't really help, only found aimbot forums and videos), so could anyone fill me in on what does it do?

i think zooming in? or increasing the speed of your mouse?

On my Razer mouse it will increase my sensitivity
