TOPIC: [Garry's Mod Guide] Custom Main Menu Backgrounds

Introduction

So you want to change the boring old backgrounds of your Garry's Mod main menu to something more exciting or something a little bit more eye catching?

This is the place to find out how to change the icons and backgrounds.

The Main Idea

So you're going to want to start off by finding some images that are a resolution of 1920x1080 or above, I'll post some images you could use that are Garry's Mod related in a spoiler at the end of the guide.

Remember there is no rules on what you can have as a Garry's Mod background if you want Anime, have Anime.

Things to look out for

• Images will pan when being used by Garry's Mod and will slowly rotate to the left or right

• Images which are too large or too small will not look so good compared to a resolution of 1920x1080 or slightly higher.

• Garry's Mod automatically puts a dark overlay on backgrounds so dark images made be made poorly visable.
