TOPIC: "The economy is so broken"

Let me tell you a story, about how the zarp economy has always been broken.
I hear shit like "I remember when RPGs used to be hard to get" from people who joined literally a year after it was added.

RPGs were only hard to get for the first couple of weeks.

The economy has never been about skill, it's been about time. Instead of AFK printing now, it's AFK mining.
Explosives where the best thing to happen to Zarp. Before that the only way to raid a base was to wait till they where afk.

Sure there's hyper inflation. But new items have the price to match.
All we need to do is stem the inflation, that's it.

And yes, sometimes the new weapons are OP as fuck, and zarp really needs to work on the balance.

I've been here for longer then most. In fact there are like 5 people who have been here longer and still play. So I've seen it all, and experienced it first hand.

I agree, economy has always been broken. I just believe in the items needing a balance some are too fuckin OP and others are too shit now because of Base shields and such. I've been playing since 2013 and explosives have been what made zarp unique. You can't take them away but they should definitely balance shit out. As for Economy staff can't do shit. I have like 2m gems and I've only been back 5 days or something. Miners don't " ruin " economy if anything they keep that shit steady and moving
