TOPIC: Is it really DarkRP?

*Disclaimer* *Im from Denmark so my English might not be the best*
So im a guy with 1.1k hours in gmod, most of my hours is from playing darkRp. Ever since i've started playing darkrp, it has always been about having the best base, so that you could protect your printers, cuz they were the way of making money. On Zarp I see less bases and less people acually playing a "Role", cuz there are so many other ways of making money, which are much faster and doesn't really acquire you to be active (Mining) So the whole purpose of playing is kinda gone, you dont need to build a base or anything, cuz you dont need to protect anything, like printers and so on. Cuz everything can be obtained by buying boosters and mining. I really like that mining is a thing in gmod, but its kinda everything now, yes you can get insane printers which probably is much better than mining, but a new player on the server cant afford stuff like that, so he will have to start from scratch, but that isnt really a problem, cuz mining is a thing and all you need is and auto clicker and the ruby converting command for console, and then you just let it do its work it self, and after some time you'll be a millionaire. I calculated that if u have a diamond pickaxe, you'll make $48k a minute, if u sell your gems for $40 each, Cuz you mine 15 rubies a min, thats (15*80)*40 = $48000 and 2.88 mill an hour.. You see how easy it is to get alot of money, even with a regular pickaxe you still make quite alot....

So my point:
-Find a way to make people build bases, so that there is a point of achieving insane guns, cuz why have an RPG when you dont need to use it to raid people. and why build a base when mining will get you alot more, and its way easier.

Roleplay is basically extinct in Zarp. When you try and roleplay staff always tell you off for it.

The great thing about ZARP is there's so many different ways to make your fortune and to roleplay. It's not just your standard build a base, put down printers and raid we have a real live economy where items go up and down in value.
We have a lot of players who thoroughly enjoy mining, converting gems and then selling them for a profit on the market.

This is roleplaying too and you can have a lot of fun just by buying and selling items on the market.

So your saying that the majority of ZARP players are AFK mining etc. and that not many people are around to roleplay due to this situation , but I have a few solutions for that !!!

1. Make a base and print (Make loads of money , buy special printers , make more money etc. , live the risk !!)
2. Raid the PD
3. Raid the Bank
4. Raid bases
5. Make a 1v1 etc. arena and see how players play from there !!!

These are the simplest and basic ones , there are MANY more , including joining events etc. but now to your main idea , no RP , simply listen , If a admin , or any other kind of staff is telling you to NOT rp then gather evidence and make a demote on him , he/she has no right to stop you from doing the basic fundamentals of this gamemode , and I repeat RP might be boring , usually when I get bored I go to other servers/games , and people usually try to RP when they can !!! Sometimes people feel that they need to try something out and don't have the time to actually RP , some might be selling items , others might be mining , others might be making bases , but trust me , during Friday and Saturday people are simply gathering around from everywhere to a point that RP is simply overflowing with energy from these people , overall kind sir YOU make the experience , YOU change your ways and YOU define this game .
