Freezing yourself for £37,000?!

I heard in our local news this morning that a girl from my home town who recently passed away after losing a fight to cancer won a court case to have ber body cryogenically frozen - for £37,000.

As of now, the way they preserve the body's will simply not work, but you never know what the future will hold, at least this girl has been given hope,
imagine waking up 2000 years in the future with no family, nothing at all,

Just over 100 years ago it was thought that humans wouldn't be able to achieve flight, let alone all the technology available in the world.
But an 'expert' on TV this morning said that the appropriate technology to revive the girl from being deceased and to preserve her body from being defrosted from liquid nitrogen would take hundreds maybe even thousands of years to create and perfect.
It's a sad statement but I think it's a poor investment.
