TOPIC: Steam Account Stolen...

Many of you probably don't know who I am but I felt like I should tell you this as I play this a lot;

about a day ago this happened.

Basically, me and my friend that I met about 2 weeks ago were in a Skype call and I was setting up my new PC I bought and he sent me a list of programs to install and this one which was called Team-speak installer, I knew what team-speak was but this was different from the installer and my anti-virus didn't pick it up so, me being the idiot I am, I ran the program and nothing happened, so he sent me 'another' version as that was just a fake, then minutes later I logged into my steam account, my friend hung up and then I got a warning saying I got logged out and tried to check my email, he got that too, so he basically keylogged me and took all my stuff. I'm chatting with steam support now.

I just wanted to tell you in-case you see someone running around with my name in-game, it isn't me.

I will keep an eye out for it.

Thanks everyone, I've just submitted a ticket to steam support, I don't really have much proof because the guy got my email too with all my steam emails but let's see what happens.

if you want to get your account back, then you need to show proof of ownership. Like a screenshot of recipe of you adding funds to your steam wallet included in your ticket to steam

Steam cannot give me my account back due to having no proof apparently.... I've made a new steam account while I try to gather proof and get my steam account back. if you wanna add me, go ahead, thanks everyone for the support I'm gonna try a few more times to get my account back and if not, i'll just continue on this one.
