TOPIC: Learning LUA

Basically I've been planning on learning LUA for a while (specifically for GMOD) because it seems really interesting to use a scripting language in a game environment.

I know 9 programming languages (about 4/5 of which I'm fairly used to) and I thought a 10th one would be cool, because OCD.

Does anyone know any resources for learning LUA? Maybe YouTube videos or websites that have useful information for beginners?

That and I can't really influence what is taught in Computer Science courses at secondary schools in Scotland. We started learning VB6 up to 5th year and when I joined an Advanced Higher class I was forced to teach myself Python up to that level in a matter of weeks, not fun.

I wouldn't say I'm most familiar with them if my only skill was to print out the old "Hello World" message.

The listed ones that I only have basic skills in would be things like input validation, simple data input/output etc.

I doubt you know much about showing courtesy to people, instead of doubting their abilities and intelligence.
