TOPIC: GTX 1050 Ti or 1060?

I have about £250, and I wanna buy some other stuff, however a 1060 would be nice. However, for now, I feel like I'd only need a 1050 Ti, and it would allow me to buy other stuff.
Cheapest I can get 1050 Ti: Probably £120, not sure yet since they're not released yet
Cheapest I can get 1060 (getting 6GB model): £230

Wait until some reviews come out and benchmark results before making a final decision. I'd personally hold out for the 1060, I'm having difficult estimating where the 1050 would land in the flagship series of cards. It'd be difficult to guess what it'd compete against.

What's the purpose of the pc? for example, gaming?

No, he wants a good GPU doing google documents and power presentations so he needs that extra GPU power. Education priorities.

I think if you are just looking to play good 1050. If you want to play other intensive games probably 1060.

In my opinion if you can play a game with decent graphics you are ok. No need to pay 100 pounds more just to get better graphics. in most of the games medium and Ultra graphics have not that much of a difference tbh. But one the other hand... the 1060 is a beast XD. Your choice.

My dad is getting me a 1060 soon, 1060 master race

My brother has one of them and honestly it just looks a tiny bit better. I'd invest those money and wait for something big to buy cause this aint really worth the money.
