Okay, so yesterday I tried ShadowPlay for the first time as a recording device, its actually nice and all.
For me, the sound quality through my mic is OK, but its a bit weird.
Also, I don't think that uploading to Youtube straight through the option of "Upload" works (Yes, I connected my profiles).
Anyways, I recorded a 1:14 minutes long video, and it took me around 25 minutes to upload it to Youtube XD
The quality - Is not good for me, the video on Youtube is 360p, even tho I recorded it HD. Help?
If anyone knows if there is a way to upload straight through the device, plz write it down, because its not working for me.

Your best bet is probably PlaysTV, which uploads straight from the client. However, it doesn't let you upload while you're still playing. In my eyes, PlaysTV is a straight upgrade as you are not limited in terms of how long you can make a clip and where you can make a clip. Yeah I tried it, but the thing is its not working - I have to upload the video through youtube, and the quality turned out to be not so good.

I'm not to sure , I have never had any problems and it worked for me . If I get on tomorrow I might be able to help you

The video file is big, because you didn't render the video yet.

You can render your video with Windows Movie Maker, or with paid software like camtasia studio or Vegas Pro (but they are really expensive).

I have the same problem with the sound in my unedited unrendered video-file, It sounds kinda "scratchy", but after Vegas Pro it's fixed, so yeah, try to render your videos. If you need more help just type into youtube "how to render videos", or ask me on steam.

the uppload straight to youtube function works perfectly imo. Good for catching rulebreakers, however you can't edit videos that much from what i know. Warning: Spoiler! If it's for something else than catching nubs on gmod breaking rules, I'd recommend using OBS and just edit the settings to match what shadowplay uses, for this I already have my OBS setup to match shadowplay, so if you need help doing settings you can just hit me up.

Anyhow the problem of uploading directly to youtube is weird, but I have never had problems with it... Sorry :b

Somehow fixed it, now the video is 720p on youtube which is good enough for me

Sound is still dumb tho

Don't upload the raw footage, the file is wayyyy to big for YouTube to make into HD. Run it in something like Sony Vegas first and cut it down (even if it's a minute, as it'll do some downgrading).	UltraBagel Offline Senior Boarder Posts: 515 Thanks received: 61 Karma: -1
