TOPIC: Question for all Staff

This is the around 10-15th time I have been told to kill myself, or ama shit moderator since the start of my moderator career. All by different people.

I've only been here what, 2-3 weeks now?

How do you guys deal with it? It's really starting to affect me and get me down, because the only light I see of myself splattered everywhere is "REPORT ABUSE"

With every batch of 25 things I do, theres 1 that could be classed as maybe abnormal, or strict, or maybe just punishing the type of person who is a cock. The rest are golden, but all I ever see is report abuse, and my chances of getting admin are diminished every time. EDIT: Just noticed, 3 reports for me, on the first report page there is for today /EDIT. Despite me being the most active staff on the server recently.

Because I am doing the most, I am also doing the best and the worst, and it just hurts.

So has anyone else been in my position? How do you deal with the stress? Dud you get passed it? How?I'd love to know please.

Well from me, Being a higher rank I get more stuff to deal with due to players basicly out to get us in a way, Just let it in one ear and then out the other buddy, Don't let anything get to you man. You do your stuff to the best you can, That's all that you can do buddy.

You hear that crap almost everyday, everyone does tbh. Just ignore them simple as that.

Been told to drink lemon bleach , to shove a couple of things up my ... , kill my self etc ...
All you do is ignore them , there will come the day that they need your help , and when you help, kinda makes them feel like shit

Well I was in your position when I was newly a moderator on SSRP and I was really offended by what they said.. I talked to ParaMontana about it and I'm very happy I did; he told me to just ignore them as I was doing my job correctly. Take that advice. This has really been working for me and the amount of shit I get told has decreased hugely (besides the people that hold grudges lol) because they're just salty they got punished for their mistakes. I use a trick where it all goes over my head. Just like in real life too. Basically 'just don't give a shit'

If this happens to you on TTT, please do use the mute and gag + give a warning, I don't want our staff members feeling down by what players are saying. If this continues however, feel free to message on me on Steam and I can see what I can do to take further action.

I was in the same situation as you around 1 month ago when I became a mod on SSRP, I received a lot of death threats, and then ever since have been " blocking out the haters", just remember that you are better than them and look at those people, all users that are minges that are giving death threats to the best staff members. Stay strong and block them

If i got a euro for every time some one called me a autist or to kill my self i would not be looking for a job right now.
Stand above it they are just being idiots and stuipd by saying anything like that to you so yeah stay above it dont let it get to you .

as para mentioned, its important not to let it get to you and to stand above it and punish them accordingly

People can be very immature and disrespectful, most Because they are mad of the warning or just are a fool, it's important to just forget what they say, Because it can really hurt a person in the end
So just don't listen to them and ignorere them, Im sure that you are a great staff mate

As a staff members we have to deal with things like this all the time on a daily basis. All I can say is just ignore it and punish them for breaking the rules. You shouldn't let the haters and rule breakers get to you because they are normally just annyoed with something trivial.
