I tried anime for a bit,

I know it's the basic one but I loved attack on titan and watched it through twice over. I also gave full-metal alchemist a go and liked that as well as sword art online - neither of which I finished.

I find that my problem is I'd rather be gaming so I never really get into the shows unless they have short episodes because I don't put the time aside.

Might give this a watch but I can't guarantee.

It's a great animation with amazing scenery and music. I've ordered A Sky Longing for Memories : The Art of Makoto Shinkai for reference to further my view of creating beautiful scenery.
