thx for tryna be smart m9 but we all know betting on teams isnt the same as going on some dodgy site to play scamroulette, and you can actually place smart bets by doing some research on team rosters and how certain players perform, organizing your inventory and doing bets proportionate to your inventory, giving you quite a bigger chance, than going onto csgodouble or some other dodgy site to loose your skins.
but yea u corrected me feel good now xdddd
Most forms of online gambling are Illegal in the US
Also: If you disallow one, you have to disallow the rest.
Gambling is betting is gambling. It's all the same, some may be more shady but if Valve enforces it they're all going down.
True, but there's word going around the subreddits that if CSGL was once whitelisted from an item trading update back in 2015, that it is going to be again, which is why I've said should, because, in my opinion CSGL isn't as malicious as most shady websites, and if CSGL goes down, a huge part of the CSGO community will disappear.
Technically, these websites may be against the US laws, but skins aren't really seen as real money yet (atleast not legally)and there isn't only the US gambling in CSGO, making it really easy for people outside and within the US to gamble, as skins are not really considered real money by Valve, and as it says vaguely
here some free online games, are allowed, and hence skins aren't real money, they're considered free games.
So basically yeah, what I'm saying is, that there might actually be a chance for some websites to be whitelisted yet again, but that's really up to Valve, they're the one to decide what to stay and what not to stay at the end of the day, and as you say, if you disallow one, you
have to disallow the rest, but that doesn't mean you actually will, so we'll see.
