Great Britain shocked the world when it voted to part ways with the European union. A referendum - a vote in which everyone (or nearly everyone) of voting age can take part - was held on Thursday 23 June, to decide whether the UK should leave or remain in the European Union. Later that day, it was decided that Great Britain would leave the Union by 52% to 48%. One of the main reasons why Great Britain decided to vote to leave was because of the immigration process while in the Union. Being part of the Union allowed people to travel to any countries part of the union without a visa, therefore issues like job employment started to pop up.

Berserk Game Gets Its First Gameplay Trailer
Earlier this year we got a glimpse of a possible game adaption of the dark comic series Berserk will be getting a video game adaption. That rumor came to be true when a gameplay trailer was announced. From the looks of the trailer, the game looks to be a hack and slash in the style of Dynasty Warriors.
This seems like a fitting genre for a Berserk game seeing how Guts is an unstoppable killing machine. The trailer has been receiving many kind remarks from fans, showing that the game is heading in the right direction. The game is announced to be released sometime in 2016. For now, enjoy this gameplay trailer.
Overwatch Earned $269 Million In May
Superdata, a digital research firm, says Blizzard's new online FPS Overwatch has racked in an estimated $269 million in revenue across all platforms in the month of May. It was ranked #1 on PC and #5 on consoles during the month. The game had only been out for eight days during the month of May, and seeing how it had earned a staggering $269 million in just eight days of a month proves how much potential this game will have in the upcoming months.
However, not all of this revenue came from just video game sales. Microtransactions from the game such as loot boxes (which range from $2 to $40) played a significant role in the game's earnings. Though the game is not free to play, analysts predict that these microtransactions which include skins and graffiti sprays will help with increasing the longevity of the game in the years to come. Not only that, but eSports will also be a major thing for the game, in which will attract more attention as well as entice more gamers to purchase the game.
The same can't be said for Overwatch's competitor Battleborn, sadly. While Overwatch takes in staggering amounts of revenue, Take-Two's Battleborn had a significantly lower performance, earning an estimated $18 million. Another thing to note is that Battleborn released three weeks before Overwatch, and yet the game had a rough time bringing in any notable earnings for the company. This just comes to show that while some games out there are earning sizable revenue, their competitor is left in the dust picking up the leftovers. A very grim outlook on the gaming industry but that's the reality of things.
