TOPIC: PLEASE STOP EVERYONE

i found out my mum had cancer 5days ago and i just got told my grandad has cancer and everyone thinks cancer is a joke

CANCER IS NOT A JOKE if your family had it how would you fell you wouldnt go round making cancer jokes would you so please stop it makes people so sad

please dont expect me to base or do anything with anyone for a couple weeks

If you are offended by people saying"cancer" ignore it. While it isn't a joke due to large amount of YouTuber's using this term so its almost unavoidable.

Btw maybe speak to Deathrazer. He had lung cancer I think it was. He might be able to help you out. Anyways I hope your Mum & your grandad get better!

Well, I'll start off by saying I'm gutted for you mate, I had a scare of cancer myself, but that's just me being paranoid, and I have nothing wrong with me. But people that say joking about cancer is an inhuman thing to do, and that it is sick, are just stupid really. It is impossible to stop people from making jokes about diseases, because theres 7 billion people in the world, our opinions are going to vary. People need to stop joking about AIDS if they are going to stop joking about cancer, they are equally as bad, and AIDS potentially affects more lives than cancer does.

Unfortunately, as much as a serious issue cancer is people will still joke about it because they don't understand how it affects people.

The only thing I advise you to do is be positive and just ignore the cancer jokes. This is the internet , you shouldn't let yourself be affected by mere pixels on a computer screen.

and as Aidan said lots of popular youtubers use the term and thats why its such a common issue nowadays.

Me having cancer myself and having to go through all of it, I know how you feel, but just ignore the retards that that make cancer jokes, hope your family gets through it though.

Sorry to hear this man it's always a hard time in life when it comes to people being ill.

When it comes to people using cancer in an offensive way we do try to stop them but unfortunately that's the only way some people can express themselves or they just don't know any better because they have had a bad upbringing. You probably can tell who are the ones that think it's funny or cool to use it but I wouldn't pay them no mind they do it for attention because their life sucks.

Sorry to hear, both granddads had cancer, one died one lived. But cancer also has a different meaning. When people saying someone or something is cancer, they are using the word correctly. They aren't making fun of people with cancer.

Do not worry there is always a chance that they will be fine just keep thinking that cancer is not definite

you won't ever stop people from using it as a joke.
They don't actually wish it to someone (atleast most of them tho) and don't really mean it.
Don't get too emotional with them.
