PSU: 1200W FSP AURUM Fully Modular - Platinum 94+

Motherboard: ASUS X99-DELUXE II Motherboard - New "X99 Refresh" Chipset

CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-6900k Extreme Edition Processor (8 Cores/ 16 Threads, 20M Cache, overclocked to 4.5GHZ

Water Cooling: Corsair Hydro Series H110i GT High Performance CPU Cooler with 280mm Radiator

RAM: 64GB 2400MHz DDR4 Memory (8x8GB) Memory Kit - Major Brand

GPU: (2x) GeForce® GTX 1080 Founders Edition 8GB 2 way SLI (16GB Total)

SSD 256GB Samsung 950 PRO, M.2 - Read 2200MB/s, Write 900MB/s (2016 model)

An overkill PC, what are your thoughts on this?

Looks like mega overkill lol one 1080 founders is better than a titan why have two? why have a 6700k when you could get a normal 6700 unless you're planning to overclock which I doubt you are, but yeah pretty beasty pc even though i agree with sonzy about it being bs.

EDIT: sli isn't optimised with new dx12 games and are suffering quite big fps drops just a heads up

Yeah I was thinking about this, thanks for the warning.

For anyone wondering about the bullshit, of course I won't be paying for this PC in full as the total cost is over £4,300 / $6,000 lol, finance is the way to go. I get sent all the parts, I build it and I pay it off monthly. Advantages of being over 18 with a job.

My previous PC was build and made by ukgamingcomputers.co.uk who were great and that was also on finance. But these do good computers but not the higher end CPU's

I did this build on meshcomputers.com/ using the "Intel X99 i7 Extreme PC" configurator. Loads of different options including ram upto 128gb and 10 core extreme i7's.

Either saved your money well or must come from a wealthy family. Either way though it looks solid.

SLI doesn't stack VRAM (I've heard murmurs of DX12 supporting it but nothing solid)
You're overkill on the PSU, RAM and CPU but your SSD lacks a large capacity.
