TOPIC: fps help

After reinstalling windows my fps has gone terrible like its 40 and it stutters any help i googled it but i cant fund nothing

Is your monitor connected to the slot with your video card? That was my issue.

Try downloading directx or setting gmod in a lower version of directx, also turn off vsync, AA and all that crap. zv-Sync turned off is a must imo.

Make sure you've installed the latest drivers for all your hardware, even unrelated stuff. Make sure you re-configure your nvidia drivers too. Try running some cpu and ram tests. Also look for background applications that might be straining your PC.

to me it sounds like your drivers are not installed. I suggest you double check what drivers you installed.
